    I just did a quick check on Motel6's in Houston and they have rooms for Fri 2nd and Sat 3rd . Don't know what your looking for but hope that helps.

    http://www.ridelikeapro.com/ and the MSF courses. Will make all the difference in the world. They are great bikes and I have no problem controlling the bike at low speeds. Unless she stands up in the seat and dances.

    Animals and people are totally unpredictable. Had a dog run out in front of me doing about 60. Saw him a ways off and he saw me. He decided he was going to cross the road. Started from the right and crossed to my left and was half way across the oncoming traffic lane. So I moved all the way to the right shoulder. At the last second, the dog turned around and bolted right in the left crash bar. He did not survive. There was no other traffic that time of night and he was under the only streetlight for about 5 miles. WHY ? I have no idea. I also have hit a few birds and the biggest was an owl that took off from the right side from the tall grass at night. He could not get enough altitude before the windshield caught him. That was one of those ,duck under the windshield, it happened so fast.

    Rejetting the carbs caused Ricks first RSV to get about 22 mpg. I would probably leave them alone

    Does it have a plug in adapter. I would try removing it and reinserting it.

    Biggest thing I concern myself with is the talk time. Since I HAVE to use the phone for work, its really not an option to run down the battery listening to music. So its going to be 2 devices for me. But on the bike or in the car the Zumo 550 lets me have both at the same time.

    Wish we could make it. Jude just broke her big toe so I don't think she is going to want to ride for a few weeks.

    Had not heard of this one yet. I would remove one of the bulbs. It sounds like a short between the running lamps and the turn signals circuits if it appears that both sides blink when ever you use a turn signal. Are the rears ok ? Ae both front bulbs the correct type and installed correctly?

    I'm not sure. But lately I taken to stickin my head out the window when riding in a cage.

    Its hard to say. Started ridin mini bikes around 11 or 12. One thing about being so young and riding is you quickly learn how much it hurts to go down and back then you weren't goin so fast. We were always made to ride with a helmet. Have busted 2 of them in my life. I would not allow any of my kids to learn or ride a sport bike for the first couple of years. But a cruiser in the wrong hands is just as dangerous. Guess it really depends on the operator.

    Leaf blowers work well.The pressure is not so high, it won't even blast the bugs off that you missed.

    DEEP CREEP. Seaform in a spray can. Spray in every hole you can find. Then check the fuel line for something living in it.

    I'm running them too. Drilled out and with stock Filters. Usually around 36. Try premium for a couple of tanks.When we left Ft Collins there were a couple of times the Rav4 dropped to like 10 miles a gallon. Started running Premium and did not have that problem. Maybe its the gas.

    Gained any weight lately Don. Didn't you change to the RSTD pipes about a year ago? Check compression. Easyrider was getting that kinda of gas mileage on his first RSV after they rejetted the carbs.
