  1. So which of these Dunlop Elite 3's did you guysmount on your Ventures? I checked SW Moto's site and they list the Dunlop Elite 3's as follows: Dunlop Elite 3 MT90-16 Front Code: 314410 Price: $108.95 Dunlop Elite 3 MR90-18 Front Code: 314411 Price: $119.95 Dunlop Elite 3 130/70HB-18 Front GL1500 Code: 314435 Price: $124.95 Dunlop Elite 3 MM90-19 Front Code: 314412 Price: $89.95 Dunlop Elite 3 MV85HB15 Rear Code: 314420 Price: $135.95 Dunlop Elite 3 MT90HB-16 Rear Code: 314421 Price: $118.95 Dunlop Elite 3 MU90HB-16 Rear Code: 314422 Price: $121.95 Dunlop Elite 3 160/80HB-16 Rear GL1500 Code: 314436 Price: $156.95 Dunlop Elite 3 150/80R-17 Front Code: 314431 Price: $155.95 Dunlop Elite 3 180/70R-16 Rear Code: 314432 Price: $175.95 Dunlop Elite 3 250/40R-18 Rear Code: 314400 Price: $149.95 Dunlop Elite 3 130/70R-18 Front Code: 314433 Price: $132.95 Dunlop Elite 3 240/40R-18 Code: 314401 Price: $149.95 Dunlop Elite 3 90/90-21 Code: 314413 Price: $96.95 Dunlop Elite 3 180/60R-16 GL1800 Code: 314434 Price: $172.95 Dunlop Elite 3 150/80HB-16 front Code: 314415 Price: $112.95 I believe it's the "Dunlop Elite 3 MT90HB-16 Rear" for the rear tire, and the "Dunlop Elite 3 MT90-16 Front" for the front tire.....but want to make sure I order the right ones.
  2. Same here: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1146331
  3. Thanks Bill! I built this one but actually stole the general concept from another one that I saw: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1346196
  4. Well,, I gotta ask......was it pink or blue?
  5. Say what you will. I'm still a Cowboy fan......BUT....those Bulls didn't play like no rookie team. Both their offense AND defense play like a seasoned veteran team that "HAD IT GOIN ON". If I had half the drive and determination that those "rookie" players had on their defense, I might win more fantasy football games. COWBOYS. You know in a way I'm glad Dallas and NE are playing in Dallas so the cowboys have the home field advantage......BUT on the other hand, they're gonna hate having their [expletive]'s handed to them on their own home turf if that's the outcome. Oh, well.....I'll be off riding in the beautiful Texas Hill Country this weekend anyway. I'll have to catch up on the game results on Monday.
  6. Well, both front turn signal bulbs and sockets checked out okay. On to check out the flasher I guess. Dang, as I recall it's inside the fairing. I hate cracking that thing open; it's a real pain having to take my driving lights off to get the front half of the fairing off. Oh well, such is the pleasures of owning a 2nd-Gen. By the way, both back turn signals work just fine.....nice and bright. Just can't seem to get the front ones to blink more than just faintly, and the hazards don't work at all. I do hear a small clicking behind the fairing when I flip the hazard switch though.....so I know it's getting juice somewhere. Bill, yes Claire is coming with me. We can't leave until about 5:00pm on Friday evening due to Claire starting a new job and can't get any time off yet. We're super-slabbing it down I-35 to San Antonio and take the loop over to pick up highway 10 back up to Kerrville. It's a little longer route but less time I think, and safer with all the deer in and around the Hill Country after dark. Are you going down this year. I hope so.....and look forward to seeing you again. Later, Bobby Lane "birddog"
  7. Cool, thanks guys for all your suggestions.. Now I have a plan for where to start looking when I get home tonight. Thanks again.
  8. That's funny you mention that. Every time I do maintenance on my Venture (where it requires I take something apart and put it back together again), I go through this mental checklist when I first get on it and ride for the first time after working on it. .......hmmm, "Did I tighten those bolts?" YES/Check "Did I put that clip back in?" YES/Check ........etc. ........etc.
  9. Man what a nail-biting game for sure. During the fiasco of the last 2 minutes of the game, I kept thinking: "Man what else can happen"?......then something else even more unbelievable would happen. After T'O' dropped the last ditch effort for the 2 point conversion, I thought it was all over. MAN, was I wrong. Speaking of T'O', I'm beginning to believe that he's afraid of getting hit. Every time he drops the ball or misses an easily catchable pass, he's always taking his eyes off the ball to check out his escape route or watching the freight train coming his way. Even on balls he seemingly catches, he eventually drops on the way to the ground because he is more worried about breaking his fall to the ground than he is about holding onto the dang ball. All in all, I'm still a fan. GO COWBOYS! PS: Nick Folk is my Place Kicker on my Fantasy Football Team. Even after last night's game, I couldn't trade him to my coworker for Tony Romo. Go figure.
  10. I searched through previous posts and could not an exact answer to my delema, so I'll ask again. I'm getting ready for an upcoming trip and did a walk around check of my lights last night and discovered that my front turn signals barely blink and aren't very distinguishable as to which side is actually doing the flashing. Back signals work great. I also tried my Hazard lights and found that they don't work at all. Anyone had a similiar problem that might have some ideas where to check. I looked through the service manual but can't find anything specific to my problem. Appreciate any and all responses. Thanks, Bobby Lane "birddog"
