  1. You can't put anything up there. That area is done when you select your city and state. Don has found animated flags for most states but I don't know if he has one for your country. He'll probably chime in her tomorrow and let you know. But like I said that area is a system area.
  2. This is the way mine has been working. The fuel tank actual holds 6 gallons. Of air that is. The most you can get in without doing the mod to the filler neck is 5 gallons. There's a gallon of air trapped in the tank above the lip on the filler. After the fuel light comes on and the Fuel Mileage starts counting up I go about 30 miles. When I stop for fuel I can put in 5.75 gallons filling it up to the neck after doing the mod . I don't think I want to push it much past that 30 mile count. The book says it comes on with a gallon left and that is pretty much correct on my bike.
  3. Starting the thing for most of them.
  4. I'm afraid if I let go of the handlebars I will crash. :rotf:

  6. Pick a number and who's ever name is assigned to the number you send the bell to? Only Don will know the assignments?
  7. Oh yea, That's just what I want to see, A bunch of old farts wearing sheets. :rotf::rotf:
  8. The 05 I have had the same as other states. The only difference they could introduce is a cat and it would say so on the muffler I think. The Nomads have had a cat since 01 at least cause the 01 I had had "the goats belly"
  9. Good luck. I tried the patch way back when. Didn't work. Finally spent 35 bucks back in 91 ( had smoked since 72) and went to one of those mass hypnosis things one night. Walked out, threw away the pack I had (2.5 a day) and never had the desire again. Best 35 bucks I ever spent.
  10. I always got around that mileage on my rear Avons. The last 2k go fast though it seemed like.
  11. Looks like a great time. Wish we could have been there. Jack probably felt like he was in his 40's again looking at those old gas pumps :rotf:
  12. I'll would take 4 or 5 of them.
  13. The midnights have a different seat on the older models and more chrome.
  14. Did I miss something ??? :rotf:
  15. Good luck Rod and everybody down there. Those Santa Ana's can really push a fire.
  16. Great Pics Jeff. That's one thing I do miss about Ky and WV is the sight of a long ridge full of fall colors.
  17. JB Weld ?
  18. Well, That's means your Butt now fits the seat. Musta been a blast ridin thru there.
  19. Good looking bike. I think you'll like the seat better.
  20. Good question. I can see a modulator on a bike making the bike more visible. When riding in front of Easyrider (runs a modulator)he was always easy to spot. Even in my rearview mirrors I NEVER confused his turn signal for his headlight. And since the Venture has a self canceling turn signal and a fast flash if a bulb is blown I would be asking her a lot more questions.
  21. I would say the same. Bleed the clutch till you purge the fluid if it looks a little yellow or brown.
  22. I would probably re word that some if it was me.
  23. I know hdhtr is running somewhere around 170k with no major problems other than the normal maintenance on his 91
  24. Our Prayers our with him and his family during this trying time.
  25. I never seen one of them thar lihgt bulbs... Guess we will have to find one and see...:rotf:
