  1. pmelah, donation sent. Keep your spirits up.
  2. Pack everything you'd take on a trip in one and then transfer all that in to the other one. If one has extra space, keep it so if you buy something on the road you can pack it instead of shipping it home. Just a thought. Or pull each one and see which gets the better gas mileage. Or keep both and trade off each trip.
  3. The engine is a 650 just like the one in my garage. I don't think that Venture is gonna be able to get out of it's own way with that engine.
  4. Look at Sellout.woot. It's there.
  5. I have had tmj trouble since an accident in 1985. Had to have teeth ground down and then built up to get alignment right. I'm just glad I didn't need surgery. Tens units are great. Posture is essential. When you slouch your jaw pushes forward, making the tmj issue worse. In my case the pain was in my jaw, back of neck, up the back of my head and shoulders. Dr. gave me exercises to do that helped strengthen the muscles. A soft neck brace while sleeping helps. Not sleeping on your stomach since you have your head left or right which puts pressure on your jaw and making the problem worse. (been there, done that). Don't chew gum. Don't drink through a straw. Try not to look down while reading (pushes your lower jaw forward) Find a Dentist specializing in tmj. Good Luck
  6. Try this site. http://www.motorcyclerecall.com/ or this. http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/SEO/MotorcycleRecall.asp?recallStatus=NO%20VIN&recallId1=NO%20RECALL%20IDS
  7. Prayers sent. And Strength for Eileen to do the job she has taken upon herself.
  8. Check out mine. Bet you can't guess where I live (other then in the US). Oh well, nobody wants to know where I live anyway. Sorry I'm a troublemaker.
  9. Happy Birthday Bummer, hope it's a good one. :Happy Birthday: :Happy Birthday:
  10. I am sorry for your loss. I had to put my bassett down and I can tell you that it was the same feeling I had when I had to turn off the machines keeping my daughter alive. Again I am sorry for your loss.
  11. I've still got a set of 4 Jardine rumblers slip-ons. Took them off cause they are a little loud for my taste. If interested make an offer.
  12. Sorry to hear this. Hope you heal fast. Then get out to a parking lot and do some practicing on your own. That's what I did before taking the MSF course. Good Luck again.
  13. Good Luck !!! And have fun.
  14. Hay, I'm really sorry. I seem to have paid prematurely. WOOPS ! Sorry I didn't wait for your signal to pay boss. My bad. Maybe next year I'll be able to control myself.
  15. My hobbies are working (don't want to think of it as a job), knitting, crocheting and walk the dogs (most of the time they walk me). That's all. Now back to the interesting people.
  16. That's interesting how the telephone poles bow as you get close and straighten up after you pass them. You must be very important to command that kind of respect. Nice video, thanks.
  17. +1 on the cherries for gout. Mom had gout and whenever it flaired up she would eat bing cherries. They really work. Good luck, and heal fast.

    Got Ran Over

I also agree with dynodon and Crash. I was hit from behind in '85. I have neck, back and jaw problems. The exercises from the Drs and the Dentist were and are a god send. Please get checked out. Better safe than sorry.
  19. :thumbsup2:Thanks. You were supposed to just let it pass. That's why I hid it in the profile. I even took that day off and slept thru it. Best b-day ever.
  20. I've had people give me s**t about parking in a handicap spot. I just tell them that I will trade whatever ills they have for the MS I have. That shuts them up pretty quick.
  21. a phenomenal nutrional drink that eased my pain significantly Is it ok to ask what this drink is? If so... what is this drink? Thanks!
  22. Go for it! It's an awesome feeling. I started on a 650 Silverado. 5 years later I have my 'big girl' bike - a 97 RSTC. I love it, and yes the 650 feels like a moped after riding the RSTC. I had the 650 soloed out with a mustang seat with a backrest. It's a great starter bike IMO. Gonna sell it when the RSTC is finished getting personalized since I ride one when the other is having work done. Anyway, go for it you won't regret it.
  23. Yes there are 4 of them. 2 with hanger things (technical term). I put a post in here wanting $200 plus shipping and was told I probably could get $350 - $400 cause they don't make them anymore. I put them for sale at the higher price on another forum but no takers yet. I went back to the stock muffs because this bike is new to me and I wanted to learn the sound of the engine. That way when the sounds change I can get big bro to check it out. And I don't really care about loud pipes. So when you get done with that bike let me know, I may become a collector. LOL
