  1. Yep. I've already told my dealer to make a note that I want the H rated tire in the future.
  2. I don't get it. It also says only 375 lbs. (???)
  3. OK, I've just noticed that my current rear tire says 42# max. Maybe I'm going nuts, but, I seem to remember they used to say 50# max. I've been running it at 47#. What does your Avon rear tire sidewall say? If yours says the same, what do you make of it? Is it no longer safe above 42#? Thanks.
  4. I can vouch for that. Many times I'll go back where I was when I had the forgotten thought &, like magic, it comes back to me.
  5. That last pic is the V Star 1300 Deluxe. They put it in the wrong Gallery.
  6. I believe he was talking imperial gallons.
  7. I use a CTEK battery charger whenever it's parked in the garage. I assume that has contributed to the long life.
  8. I've got the original battery in my 2006 with 56k miles & it's still going strong. Have I now jinxed it by saying that?
  9. SICK!!!
  10. My Reda can fits in the saddlebag just fine.
  11. Gives a whole new meaning to "Air Head", doesn't it?
  12. Here you go: Visited States Map
  13. My wife has one on her V*650 & loves it. Stock seat on her bike, so, there must be something different for each model.
  14. Anyone else see these? I don't see them on other threads. Also, a few days ago I noticed a round image of some kind infesting many posts. Just wondering what this stuff is. I'm on my new iPad, so, I'm pretty sure it's not a virus on my end.
  15. It's on there with double sided tape. Take some fishing line to it and saw back and forth. Then use WD-40 or Goo Gone to remove the residue.
  16. I just emailed them as to availability. Their old site showed a place near me (Seattle) on a map. Their new site shows the company to be in New Jersey. Be interesting to see if they respond.
  17. Here's what I've got. Expensive, but, no better protection out there.
  18. Rancho Santa Fe, CA to Medford, OR - 800 miles, 13.5 hours or so, including stopping for lunch. Felt I could have kept going. I wasn't sore at all. The RSV is just so comfortable.
  19. When I inquired about that switch, he wouldn't sell me just the switch. Said it only came with the whole kit. Maybe that's changed.
  20. Here's what I did to my 2nd Gen. Next, I did this.
  21. Same here.
  22. Yep, my wife called me from TX & told me to go buy 20. Hope y'all don't get jealous when we win.
  23. Yep. I'm partial to that tank emblem myself. I've even got a pin like it on my jacket.
  24. Yes, for the brake/clutch levers. Cruiser Customizing has them by Show Chrome (Big Bike Parts). I changed to these long ago because of the aluminum oxidizing & discoloring my gloves. I don't know about the reservoirs. I do have chrome lids on the reservoirs: left side has "Royal Star" engraved on it, right side has "Venture" engraved on it. Got them on ebay. I don't know if they are still available or not.
  25. Bagger Shield. Often shows as a banner ad at the top of the site page. Click it.
