  2. Now Thats Funny!!
  3. I can't tell you how envious I was to see you and Jonas riding together after we left Freebirds. I didn't get half the chance to spend some time with him and I am kicking myself for nat being able to do so. Good on you for your hospitality and I know that Jonas will have great memories of the times he spent with this crazy group BTW I could do some real damage making things with a Bridgeport like that
  4. For those of you that weren't able to make it to maintenance day....here is Jonas from Iceland, and with his bottle of Black Death
  5. Bill, The one I'm doing is larger than that, about the size of a Piggybacker. Here is a box that should absolutely fit the bill. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300321510925&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AVRI Visit his ebay store as he has lots of different sizes to choose from. Here is another setup that I am thinking of making one out of http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=190293313795
  6. Just this one here
  7. Bill, With the way the world is today I say do it up! If you can swing it I know you'll never regret it and look back with fond memories of making it happen. As far as a trailer, I might have something your looking for.
  8. Scott, Is this under hard accelleration? I ask this because if I got on the '08 really hard I would get the oil light to come on. That light is just letting you know the oil is lower and the gauge can't see it, it's not a loss of pressure, just reading a loss of volume in the lower case. I was running synthetic and figured it was pumping the oil too fast into the upper engine. Don't know how many miles are on this oil change, but it might not hurt to swap it out.
  9. That sure was a lot of fun keeping it from you for almost 7 months....glad you like "The Gift"
  10. Your a genius Rick...or I'm an idiot More likely the latter, thanks for the heads up, worked like a charm Nice work on the hitch Dave....now all you have to do is have it CHROMED
  11. Might just be me but they dont come up and take a long time not doing it
  12. Nice pics....that sure was an awful kiss to Bubba

  14. Alan, It was great having you with us this weekend, 'specially when Freebird got us lost in his own state Glad to hear you and Mel made it home safe, looking forward to seeing you again soon
  15. Your the one that deserves the thanks Don. Every year so far it has grown exponantially and you keep saying we'll do it next year. Thank you to both you and Eileen for allowing us to invade your home and share a part of your life with us. Some folks will never know how hard everyone in your family works to pull this off, Dylan, Tony and Terry included. We had a great weekend and just for the record, this is the spring rally and this weekend is the biggest rally that VR.org has ever had. You folks are the best and I am so glad that Heather, Lonna and I were able to attend. Thanks again for all you do for us Don
  16. Bob....you walked away from it, it's just steel and oil and thats replaceable. Glad to hear it wasn't any worse, it was great to see you both again and you'll get the '09 back to where it needs to be, good to see it isn't worse.

  19. Thanks folks, as soon as I know more I or Lonna will pass it on to all of you, Thanks again.
  20. I just bought one with 102000 miles on it, I'm not concerned with the mileage, I think that translates to about 160000 Kms Buy it if it's been maintained well there will be no issue.
  21. Send them to my email and I will resize them and put them up weldman333@yahoo.com
  22. Folks, While at Maintenance Day Lonna got a call from Kenny Branton, Kbran here on the site. He's not having a good go of this foot situation he suffered a few weeks back when his bike fell on his ankle. This has become much more complicated and Kenny now has a Blood Clot in his lung. He is currently in the hospital and is being treated for this with Coumadin. He is doing as well as can be expected, but asks if you folks would say a prayer for him. He probably wont be able to get on the site for a while, but if you would just take a second to talk with the man upstairs for him I know it would help to ease his and many of our minds. For those of you that dont know much about Kenny, he was Lonna and my savior when we had out accident in January of '08 outside of Baton Rouge. He came right to the hosptal and stayed with us during the entire process. Then had his daughter-in-law come and pick us up and took us to her house where she gave up her bed for us. We went and picked up the bike and he drove us and the bike up to Mean Dogs house in Mississippi where we put the bike in our trailer for our trip back home. They dont came any better than Kenny or his family, please say a prayer for him, Lonna and I owe a lot to this man and his family.
  23. Lonna and I made it home too, great to see everyone and make some new friends
  24. Now your going to take Tucketts word for that I thoughts you OLD folks knew better than that
