if you are going to plug it it needs to be done with a plugpatch not a straight plug I have had several plugpatched tires on the blonde and not had a problem with any of them. then again most of mine were done by my dealer who is very picky when he does it and will not do any that he thinks is questionable. we dont consider it cold till it gets into the teens around here otherwise its just a little chilly . I am going out to get on the bike and the temps are in the low 40s at the moment see ya when I get back. Jeff

take it for another ride and pay close attention to the sound it may be from a dry gear in the speedo head it can get really loud and sometimes the will sound like a bad front wheel bearing. Jeff -
on the way into work one morning had a deer hit the harbor freight trailer I was doing about 70 when I saw out of the corner of my eye something moving to quick to react all I did is hold on and all turned out well had fur all down the wooden sides. another time I had a large white owl fly out in front of me on the highway and my anntenna got his attention ever since then every time I ride the blonde past him I get an evil look from the same white owl. I have a 500 gig western digital hard drive that took a fall while I was in Afgahnistan does anyone on the site have the whatever it takes to get the data off of the platters I can tell you this that the motor locked solid and the platters both have a white square mark that showes where the heads were are supposed to park Thanks Jeff

the oil could be comming from the waterpump housing or other places how much oil are you getting in the overflow?if its a small amount I would look at the water pump it is possible that it has been replaced and not sealed properly are you getting water in the oil? if not I would not suspect the head gasket Jeff -
Margaret and I are excited to let everyone on the Forum know that we have "officially" launched M&Ms Motorcycle Repair. After being in the sandbox for a year, and just not being ready to work again for someone else, we think this is our best professional move forward. We'll start out doing it "backyard" and "mobile/on-site" for now, with an eye towards a shop down the road. Thanks in advance for helping us grow! Jeff

The circuit is dead Seriously Dan the black button end pops out and has a white strip that shows when the breaker is popped these are aircraft parts and you know how quickly they need to be able to spot a problem Jeff

Got bored and took a few aircraft circuit breakers to the SS bike yesterday now I have NO glass fuses on my bike any more. Take a look and tell me what you think. Jeff

I keep at least 35 lbs tounge weight at all times otherwise it qets real squirrely and can make the bike shimmy at higher speeds.

I run 15 psi in mine and its stable all the way up to 125 mph when loaded correctly Jeff

Staineless lines and EBC HH pads will make a huge improvement if you pull hard enough you can do stoppies with hh pads Jeff

Thanks Boo I might be taking you up on the offer as we are gonna do a local pickup looks like hte weekend of the 18th at this point just got to wait for them to let us know when it will be ready. No electric brakes for me on this one havent needed them yet on any of the loads I have towed and if I do want them I can add them later easy enough. Mini had actually been real good about this as she sent them a check for the deposit as soon as she got home we had been talking about this for a few months I even let her tell me what I was gonna get LOL Jeff

Well I might need a place to set up the new bunkhouse travel trailer I just ordered if Mini gets mad at me when she gets back from the store. :dancefool::dancefool: We are finally going to be able to go camping without sleeping on the ground even got the ac duct for her so now I guess I need to find a lightweight ac in case we wind up camping somewhere that is to hot for her I dont care for ac but gotta keep the mini cool.
