    Well I installed mine myself lubed it up real good and it seated at 49 psi I like it alot but the bike is back in the shop so it may be a while before I get more time on it i have 7 k on it and am very happy.

    We use rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol on aircraft windscreens they are made out of plastic and it doesnt hurt them I have used it on my windscreen with no damage

    We will see they finally heard the xm act up now if they can just hear the engine knock and whine maybe I can get somewhere it sounded like a tinkers shop yesterday at 21 degrees when I left work

    Well 7 months and 25K miles and so far the transmission has been replaced.The satelite radio is still acting up.I have a few more electrical issues since I got the bike.last shop visit was 26 days lets see how long they keep it this time.Yes I started the lemon law paperwork so we will see what comes of it.Evidently you cant ride a Honda like a First gen. Never had a transmission problem with the Venture other than the soft washer causing the second gear to pop out. thats been fixed for a long time now besides that I dont count that as an issue seeing as how it was an original problem with all of the 83s and 84s. I will keep you all updated on what comes of the lemon law paperwork hopefully it will be a good thing for me. Jeff

    Well after 7000 miles since install I can tell you that I really like the kumho tire on the wing.It handles great feels stable even at 130 mph the only bad thnig I can say about it is that after running high speeds when I stop for fuel I smell the tire but after looking at it a few times it doesnt bother me any more.I am going to try to find a CT to fit the first gen so when I get the sidecar attached it might last longer then the last tire did.If I keep a wing I will definatly stay with the CT on the back Jeff

    well I got the wing back from the dealer yesterday they put a new transmission in it so I am back on the car tire it did real well in the high winds this morning I will post more when I get around the 1000 mile mark probably next week. So far I like it [/color]]
