    Well Rob made it down around 4 or so and we worked on his Blonde she now runs great the cables were in need of lube we removed the left fairing so I could play with the cables and then we did the carb sinc they were way out but not any longer. I think that Rob was surprised at how his bike felt when it runs properly.He is a great guy and has a nice looking 84 with 13k on the odometer. he is in need of a trunk for it though the second owner didnt have it when he picked up the bike 8 days ago so if you know of one let him know.     Just talked to Rob and he is bringing the bike down this afternoon so I can work on it. Sounds like the cables are out of spec and a carb tune might get it right. Jeff

    Abbe dont forget about the sinc screw it actually moves the throttle plate that is most likely what is holding the throttle plate open look in the service manual at the throttle cable adjustment procedure to get the cables back where they need to be, Jeff

    I did Riderdukes sunday and only 2 shims needed replacing. as for the cost I am getting $400 but I do color tune and which means it gets plugs and a carbtune I have the customers bring the gaskets and plugs I found that most dont need new shims but they do need to be checked. Jeff

    We looked at all of the tent trailers we could and decided on the Bunkhouse from B&F specialties.The decision was that might as well get the top of the line trailer with a king size bed to begin with instead of having to upgrade one or more times.I would guess it depends on how often you plan to use it and finances. good luck with whatever you decide to get, I can tell you that we are very happy with our decision now I just have to get a trailer hitch for the wing so we can use it, Jeff

    Well I will be leaving here on the 2nd of Feb to start the process of heading back to the sandbox for another year.The company offered me alot more money to do a second year so its off again.Sorry if I didnt get to see some of you while I was home.I didnt plan this but it has come down to money and the lack of it here so I am going to do one more year and I told them not to contact me again after this tour because I wont go back again.Sorry for leaving the family to put up with Mini but I cant take her with me See ya all when I get back Jeff

    Well in about 12 days I am going to be driving a truck to my home town in Santa Paula California. My Aunt has requested of me to drive her back home with all of her stuff from Hope Mills NC she is going back to take care of my Grandmother who is 83. I will be taking the southern route I20 to I10 so if you see a guy looking like he needs a ride driving a big yellow truck that would be me.My cell is 9196735095 if you are on the way maybe we can get together give me a call.Sorry I cant take any detours as money is tight for her but if you are on the way and get in touch with me soon enough we might be able to get together for a soda or lunch. I will post on this thread when exactly I will be leaving I plan on doing the drive in 3 to 4 days as long as my Aunt can stand being on the road that long each day. Jeff

    Seen that happen to a midnight when I was working at cherry point I told the owner to have the shop replace the relay under the battery that everything goes through they did and no more problems Jeff
