  1. I would pick the vstar 250 over the rebel just because it is a twin cylinder over the single on the rebel. It's a little smoother and seems to ride better in my opinion. A guy I worked with had one to start with I rode it a few times he claimed low 80's on fuel mileage. I know this probably didn't help much but my
  2. The closest Honda dealer to me keeps the moly in stock, the Yamaha dealer here has always been above and beyond from my experience anyway. They support our local meet up group pay the club dues and let us hold our meetings at their store. The owner's wife even joins in on club rides when she has time. They also has a new RSV on the floor with a couple of used ones also, along with a couple of wings the last time we were over. They also price match any add. my
  3. The wife and I knocked down around 300 miles here Saturday it was a little cool to start 28* but got up in the 60's on the way back.

  5. $1.50 here at the local Ace Hardware.
  6. It is a car tire alot use them on the rear.
  7. The wife and I recently test rode the Ulysses because it was what I thought I wanted as a back and forth to work bike. The only way I would have took it home is if they would have gave it to me. In my opinion it was terrible the vibration and heat from it is unexplainable power was so so ( we took a 20 minute ride ). The only thing that I was impressed with was the front brake other than that no thank you again my opinion. I guess I will revisit the KLR or DRZ sometime soon. stroker
  8. Here are the pics as promised earlier today, Enjoy!!!!
  9. I guess yesterday was the day for us locals to hit the paths with water by them in our beautiful state of TN. Mike and I did Hwy's 95-411-72-129-441 yesterday and the water in the Smokies looked like the Ocoee. It was beautiful, and as usual it made me almost take a little nap.... There isn't much color change yet I would say maybe the weekend of 9-10-11th if we can get some cooler temps and a little more rain, they should be close to perfect if not it may take another week.. I'll try and post our pics later on today....
  10. Why does this have to be on MON-TUES-WED? I read in another thread where someone suggested a weekend, just wondering.. Thx...
  11. What is the date for the sanannah ride in Nov? I love that place and that would be a great trip for us on the bike....

  15. I'm pretty sure that is the one. Mike and I ride that route a lot since it is in our backyard.. We will meet up with you all there also, but we're not riding the dragon either, we try and only ride it Mon. thru Thurs. early AM to avoid the crazies..... Mike has another route planned for us, not sure exactly what that is @ the moment but I'm sure he'll be happy to share it with you all when we meet up......We are looking forward to meeting everyone.... Safe Riding, Denise
  16. Great looking Bike, I've been looking around for something like that myself. Stay safe
  17. Hi, I still have one for sale if interested, I'm in East TN though.
  18. You can visually see part of the pad from the top and bottom of caliper. As long as you can see pad ( brake material ) between rotor and backing plate of pad you should be ok ? The pads are around 3/16 thick when new. My opinion hope this helps.
  19. Have a safe trip. We will probably ride the skyway this weekend if I get to feeling better.
  20. Not mine. You may want to try us129photos.com also
  21. Great find, I don't need it yet but it's coming. Have you found a good deal on the install tool?
  22. Me and the wife rode one around for a few hours back in May. It is a nice bike we both liked and disliked some things but nothing serious enough you couldn't get over them. It is not as smooth or as comfortable as the venture. Would I ride one, yes would I buy a new one, no keep what you have and enjoy it. Eveyone has their opinion there's mine. There is alot of bikes out there I would like to have but just wouldn't buy them new my .

  25. I have used Foward-Air To ship several over the years. As long as you have a terminal close usually runs a couple hundred to ship one.
