Marissa Tomei....she never replied to my personal invitation though.

OK...now that you have made fun of my hair...I'm not answering any more of your questions. OK...just this one time. I'm honestly not that familiar with that shock. Does it have an outer spring? I guess what I'm saying is to screw it down so that it would compress the spring more. If it doesn't have a spring, pretend that it down and turn it that way anyhow. I'm guessing that it would be clockwise. I sent Pegscraper a PM and asked him to look at this thread. He is very familiar with the Royal Stars.

I like it. I've never had an MG but I've owned two Triumph Spitfires and they were a lot of fun. Looks like you done good.

Freebird's Maintenance Day Parts/Accessories Thread

Remind me when you get here that I'm not speaking to you. -
Well heck...here we go. Jonas will be coming over and getting ALL the attention from our ladies. That's just not fair...I worked hard this weekend and I think I strained some muscles that I didn't even know I had. I want some pampering too. Seriously, we are really glad that the treatment was a success Jonas. Hope you can get some rest that you are in much need of before your trip. We look forward to your visit. Especially the opportunity to meet Greta...she has to be an amazing lady to put up with you.

I hope that somebody else jumps in here to verify but I THINK you would still screw it down tighter even though I do understand about it working opposite of most shocks. The newer RSTD and RSV's don't have that adjustment at all as they use air. I think that Pegscraper could better answer your question as he has a lot of experience with the Royal Stars. If he doesn't see this, you might want to send him a PM.

Partly cloudy......like natural SHADE? DUH! you just can't please SOME people.

Well...it was my mommy that made me wear one and now my wife makes me wear one. When I grow up, I'm going to make my OWN decisions. To be honest, I've tried a couple of times without one and just really didn't like it.

Yea, that would be my recommendation too. I pretty much stick to here, Craigslist and then if those don't work, I will try Ebay.

Well, it's 88 here right now. I can tell you that over the past 2 1/2 days, I have spent about 7 hours on a weed eater, put out 65 bags of mulch, cleaned the garage, cleaned the deck, spent about 3 hours working on the Mantis tiller before I finally gave up on it.........various other "honey do" chores that Eileen assured me HAD to be done before Maintenance Day. It has been PLENTY hot when you are out following those type of orders!

Crossover Air Line
Freebird replied to Hobscotch's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Here's an article on the subject with a link to the part at Dennis Kirk. BUT...it says no longer available. You might do a search for that part number and find it somewhere else. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=497 -
Well...I stopped believing you when you said "protect the innocent". HA...like there is ANYBODY here who is INNOCENT!

Why did I think I needed that when i was broke
Freebird replied to muaymendez1's topic in Watering Hole
Well MAYBE....he is certainly setting a bad example for the rest of us. -
Never really considered one. Would have to really research it before I would consider them. Interesting idea though.

To those who gave it all, who made the ultimate sacrifice, you will never be forgotten. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgkxiqKj0nU&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - ANGEL FLIGHT RadioTowerDVDMix.mpg[/ame]

I tell you, this is going to be a very difficult question to answer without being there to do some hands on testing. How often does the bike shut down? If it's a very regular thing, I would likely start by disconnecting the electrical going to the side car and see if that narrows the problem down. That would tell you if the problem is on the side car or the bike and then would be easier to find. If it's on the side car, I would then proceed to disable one thing at a time until I got the problem isolated.

Good luck to you Steve. I had my left right eye done last fall due to other problems. Mine was a bit extensive because of the other issues the the cataract surgery itself wouldn't have been so bad. You'll be back in full stride in no time.

Sent you a PM.

Anyone on speaking terms with the powers that be?
Freebird replied to Black Owl's topic in Watering Hole
According to the local news a couple of days ago, over the past 60 days, we have had rain on 52 of those days. -
As a matter of fact, I do.
