  1. Folks, as most of you know, we send out happy birthday wishes to those who have their birthdays listed in their profiles. Such a birthday wish went out to Biker44. His actual name was Terry Richardson from Fulton, NY. He only posted a couple of times so most would not know him but I still ask that you say a prayer for those that he left behind. Here is the response that I got back from his wife today in response to the birthday wish. "Thank you for the birthday wish, unfortunately my husband died 2 weeks ago in a motorcycle accident. Would you please remove him from your email list. Gratefully, Joyce Richardson"
  2. OK folks...the Eagle has Landed. The chicken is in the coop. The shuttle has docked. Guess what is sitting in MY garage. Hey...at least I finally got a ride in. Jonas...I can report that it IS hitting on all four cylinders.......
  3. OK...so you DO understand. uh...you DO know that we are just kidding right?
  4. Yea, you are right, the Aussies are nice folks. I've got boxes of stuff in the basement from Australia. I usually just open one per day...it's like Christmas all the time. I already had some of that stuff though so just sold those things on Ebay.
  5. Who is this Starfan person? Yes, I got some money from somebody in Iceland and thought it was a very nice generous gesture. Eileen and I are now looking for a boat.
  6. Thanks. I'll be watching for it.
  7. There is a legend at the top of the page that explains it. The 1 indicates that the service is offered, the 0 indicates that it is not.
  8. I agree it is probably time for an update. So, this is the official announcement. If you need to make changes, add yourself or remove yourself from the list, now is the time to do it. I will give you all two or three days and then update the list sometime early next week.
  9. LOL...I went through one of those scanners last week for the first time. It was the longest that it ever took me to get through security...I don't know what caused the delay. All I heard was a lot of giggling.
  10. Oh yea....that's about the nicest I've ever seen. Fantastic look.
  11. I found an old post that says: Anything after serial number 0001413
  12. I'm guessing it is an '85 model. I don't think they made a brown one in '84. You will need the serial number to tell if it was before or after the second gear problem.
  13. You need to attach a larger picture. We really can't tell what that is. I can tell you that there were no optional trunks. If it has the later style trunk, it is either newer than an '84 or somebody has swapped the trunk. I think the drivers floorboards were only available as an aftermarket accessory and I understand are very hard to find.
  14. OK folks, I got an email from 1sttenor that he did have one of the copies and he mailed it to me last Friday. I am out of town but it should be at my house when I get home on Friday. So, who is next on the list to get it. I never heard anything back from R12Guy.
  15. hmmm.....I didn't get a virus warning and just scanned my computer and it shows clean.
  16. Yea...like I'm not watching every thing you say. I WILL be watching and have hired security.
  17. It can be very serious. There are other types also. Most of you know that I have been dealing with Ocular Melanoma for a couple of years. Been through radiation and two surgeries. Just had a 6 month checkup a couple of weeks ago to make sure that it hasn't spread to my liver. Still waiting on the results but I'm sure it's OK for now. They really don't know what causes it but they suspect that the sun probably plays a part. WEAR YOUR SUNGLASSES. I finally asked the doctor on my visit a couple of weeks ago if I still actually have cancer and he told me that for the type that I have, I will never be pronounced cancer free. He said that they can only hope to contain it to the eye. Of course I went blind in that eye about a year ago but so far, so good.
  18. There are at least a couple of similar products on the market. Here are a couple. Look at their link to "Trike Alternatives" to see "landing gear" and "ghost wheels". http://www.wildwesttrikes.com/
  19. No problem and I sure wish he was going to be there. Not just to do the seats but because he is a good friend and it would be great to see him again.
  20. OK...which maintenance day and who is Steve? If you are talking about my maintenance day, that is Rick Butler and unfortunately, he is not going to make it this year.
  21. I had actually stopped doing any welding on them. I was cutting and bending and then started having the stamped out at a local machine shop. The reason I stopped making them is because I had to have them stamped 100 at a time and I started finding it harder to find enough old stands to order that many again.
  22. Where do you see these in the classifieds? I just looked and didn't see them listed any longer. I was going to delete the ad.
  23. ANY of the actual stands will work but you have to fabricate a special bracket.
  24. When I'm riding with a group and that is all I'm interested in hearing (which is normally the case), I just put mine all the way up on 20 and it seems to work just fine.
  25. Check with Ponch. I know that he has made a few based upon my original design.
