  3. Ok, let's make a statement. SPO (Standard Procedure Operations) for Yamaha guys is use channel 29. Sentence in place. :rotf::rotf:
  4. I think you should post how many of each ones people will request in order to see if there is any sense to do both, or one of them, and to which cost? I 'll like both, so I'll order both. Regards, Calperin
  5. Karl, Thanks, I don't think that I'll be able to leave so early. Some people work even on MD. My plan is to leave early on the afternoon, may be 16:00 hs if I can leave the office earlier to have everything prepared. Price is fair. Hope to see you soon. Carlos
  6. Karl, I'm not sure at what hour I'll leave on Friday. But as soon as I confirm that I'll like to share the room. What time are you planning your trip to? I'll leaving from Southfield to Ohio, so if we match the time we can ride together. BTW, how much is the room? Carlos
  7. Nice job. I hope to see that trailer on Don's. calperin
  8. I totally support the motion... Should I call my lawyer??? :rotf::rotf:
  9. Today was the first day I ride my RS97 after winter, only for 2 or 3 miles. Oil change completed, but even when I check the coolant, I saw the red light dimming (Just started to get on) on temperature, as well as I was able to hear a little wistle. Next step will be to take off the whole coolant, and after clean the whole circuit then replace it. Also, a check on the fan circuit to be sure is working. Any other suggestion on this cases? (Purchase another bike is not admited!!!)
  10. One of this days I 'll need to do the carb change. Still got a very poor mileage with the original. I know you wrote an article about it. Let us know how it goes.
  11. Only if I don't see you come with a screwdriver ready to work!!! :no-no-no::no-no-no:
  12. Don, Yes, I miss the MD last year. And my health didn't help me until now. I got my third surgery two weeks ago, and today I get ride of my catheter. However, due to the recurrent on my obstruction, I'll need to exercise with another catheter (I hope smaller size) once a day during at least a couple of months. That was the joke about. However, cancer is gone. See you soon. Carlos
  13. I plan to be there and I did that job. Only I wish I don't need help to change my catheter. :rotf:
  14. Eddie is too tall to see what is on the floor!!!:rotf::rotf:

  17. mmmm..... "...No 'before' photo because it was just too embarrassing but here is an 'after' photo. Also put in a new battery..." After what??? :photographing::photographing::photographing:
  18. Thanks for the reply, but it seemed more an engine light instead of the tank light. I'm not sure what can be before to try to start it again. There were not the oil lamp either. I have no manual to check, Thanks
  19. If the engine is there, and the starter also is there, I have to believe that can be the starter relay that didn't activated. Or the bike was not on neutral?
  20. No, I have a 1997 RSTD and it's not rough at all. Shock as everybody else has already said. Regards,
  21. Last November, since I was recovering from my surgery and no using it for at least 45 days, I had to move my bike to the winter parking. I remember that I was not able to started easily, and after a couple of starts, it come up but also a yellow light show up. After that, I stopped after parking on the right spot, and didn't used at all during this time. Winter weather plus my surgery recover didn't let me be close to the bike to take care of it. Somebody remember what was that yellow engine light? Was not Oil, was the engine but it never showed up in the past since I have that bike. I'll start to prepare it for this year, and before to do anything, I want to be sure that nothing went wrong. Thanks, calperin
  22. Gunboat, I have the same cancer detected last august 2010, and I decide to do the surgery on October 26, 2010. I had a Robotic (Somebody called Laparoscopic) surgery that I found was developed for the people that sells the Da Vinci Robots for that purposes. I was walking (Not without some pain) at the second day, and back home also on that day. After that, I was lucky that everything was encapsulated, and after 3 PSA tests still have cero on PSA level, what indicates the cancer is gone, and due to the encapsulation the probability to had mestastasis is almost 0. (I said almost because still is a probability, not a yes or no). It will take a couple of weeks (3 or 4) but everything will be Ok. You don't even will notice except to get sleep during the surgery, so don't worry everything will be Ok. Good luck and let us know how that goes. Carlos :bighug:
  23. I have the same bike. I would love to see that finished. Hope to see it soon. calperin
