  1. I use them on the cages, great for a Quick check, have had no problem with them. Have a set on one of the VR, however you can not use "Ride On" with the guages and I think I like the idea of using "Ride On" better. :canada:

    Yup... brother in law & I ride Jan 1. then he sends pics to his relitives that are snowed in. However we are snowed in at the present.....freaky weather...:canada:

I have the forks off a 82 XJ 650 & using a 8mm hex sosket on the bottom of the lower tube, and a 12mm hex socket with all my extentions down the upper tube, both seem to turn (spin) but will not loosen the dampning rod. Any ideas? Need to remove dampning rod to replace the fork seals. H E L P Thanks :canada:

  18. 83 & 84 & part way through 85 2nd gear was an issue ie popping out on hard throttel after 40K. Yamaha drop the Venture Standard & just made Royales from 86 till 93. Larger saddle bags & trunks from 86 till 93. 83-4-5 had 1200 86 up 1300. If you run a serch on this site for the History you can get all the specs.:canada:
  19. Just an idea........ I've attached small bungy coards on the insides of the lid and the locl so the lid will hang on the side when open, never need to find a place to put the lid down to get kicked or stept on. :canada:

We were on the I 5 just in the passing lane just behind a semi in our cage & a "road gator" was released, scared the you know what out of us & left a 6 inch gash in the hood of the car & a dint at the top of the windshield. Would have cut a rider in half. I pay semis there due, and pass as quick as possable. :canada:
