    Buddy of mine has same bike, also saw one being parted out in WA...........QUESTION is the trunk is the same as 86 & up have only seen it on this colour 85. Can anyone shed some light on this delema??????????? :canada:

    Noticed www brake planet. com have organic brake pads for $15.12 plus $4.99 shipping $1.00 more per item shipped. Thats $50.00 & change for set of 3 for the scoot.:canada:

    The voltage on a 85VR dropped into the yellow 8volt area & drained the battery, replaced the rectifer/regulator worked just great for 2 weeks, now volt meter is down in the yellow zone again. Manual indicates that it may be the starter coil [where do I find the starter coil?] & have I burned out another rectifier? I enjoy wrenching, dont understand electrical :confused24::confused24:at all so walk me through slowly. Thanks in advance Stewart :canada:

    I went out to ride my beautiful 86VR and the left trunk lens [amber] had fallen off, its no wear, gone, just fell off when riding. I feel like a prom queen with a huge ZIT :rotf::rotf:that wont cover. Can anyone help? Where do I start:confused24::confused24: to try & find one, anyone have an extra????? Whats to do?? its blemished Iam so SAD..:canada:

    Stock springs or proggressive springs?? I have read that if you replace with progressive springs you do not need to use front fork pressure. :confused24::canada:

    Front or rear wheels? Rear wheel you need to change the plastic bowl that fits up against the final drive [deeper on 83 84 & 85] Solid rotor on early gens floating rotors on later, dont know if that will make any diff.:confused24: :canada:
