I had to look up a picture to see what it was. Nice sports tourer.

Our visit to Washington and the wedding.

Thanks for the kind words. I guess it's a Dad thing but you really don't want them to grow up. I tortured poor Trevor to the point where I think he was really scared of me until Ruth told me to knock it off. Dan, I didn't have a bike to ride while in Washington. Boy, that would have been fun to have my scoot there! -

A few more pictures..... A ferry to Bremerton. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/86/209972428_b951684389.jpg At the Ferry dock, Ivar's fish house in the background. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/63/209972431_e9bad323a1.jpg Safeco Field http://farm1.static.flickr.com/69/209963962_c2d62f7d3f.jpg http://farm1.static.flickr.com/76/209963960_e1a0500417.jpg http://farm1.static.flickr.com/80/209963958_f4552ede35.jpg In the woods at my Sister's house http://farm1.static.flickr.com/70/209970983_f0cf8753b3.jpg http://farm1.static.flickr.com/67/209974189_40afb8c0b8.jpg http://farm1.static.flickr.com/89/209974184_5d30042315.jpg -
Wow, I just gave my little girl away in Marriage. It's kinda hard to believe how quick our kids grow up! My daughter Erin and her new beau Trevor. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3023/2895515933_bb8e45bc5c.jpg We got a chance to hang out in our old stomping grounds in Spokane Washington. Typical to see deer in the back yard. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3208/2895778951_0157431073.jpg We took the opportunity to drive over to the West side and visit family there. My son Kyle lives in Ballard. It's an area that has locks that allow travel to lake Union and Washington. To get there I took one of the floating bridges. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3037/2895771511_cdfbf29ee9.jpg The locks at Ballard are pretty cool. Salmon run up a fish ladder to the side. You can see them through a window down below. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3105/2896589650_1732bd8da0.jpg Boat Traffic through the locks. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3148/2896588028_e7b9620640.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3084/2895747291_2a9a937d55.jpg We also got to meet our the newest member to the family. Our great niece Isabel. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3202/2896552650_0073cceaca.jpg We had a ton of fun and saw a bunch of family and friends. It was tough to leave the Northwest! And yes, I caught a Mariner game in Seattle. Took my son Kyle with me. Can't beat that for good times! By the way, I saw a silver Venture in Spokane. I'm thinking it might have been an '05 after talking with Brad about the description.

Have a great, fun, and safe trip!

I like mine....alot....

I usually use my home bank for financing. Seems to help me with the negotiations when I have less things to think about. My Credit Union will give me 100% financing on a new rig. Have you looked into alternatives?

Now I know why some kids are afraid of clowns!

2007 Midnight Ventures are very nice. They don't make them anymore so you got the last of a breed. Have fun with your new bike!

I've got all my rigs gassed up. It's about $3.88 a gallon here.

What town was the first picture taken in? Pretty country for sure.

Nice pictures Dan. For some reason, I never even thought of going. Now I kinda wish I did.

Same here. It didn't give me the option to remove them completely.

Ok, I had to check it out. Look what they want for the cassette player! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture-XVZ1300-CASSETTE-TAPE-PLAYER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ10066QQihZ024QQitemZ370085509978QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW -
I've trekked around Kootenay Lake. Did you stop at Ainsworth Hot Springs?
-
Johanne, I'm very happy to hear the good news!

Hairman, I've always thought that the "Loud Pipes Save Lives" deal is a bunch of horse-pucky. Sure it's loud as heck behind your bike but other than getting rear ended it's not going to do much for your safety. Of course, I think the sound of the V-4 opened up with Barons Nasty boys sounds cool as heck. They are on my short list of add-ons for the bike.
-
Don, If you get into riding that bike and have any questions, give me a call. Cycling was my hobby until I got the Venture (still have two road bikes). I know all the good places to get accessories and I started with a hybrid just like you. Bob

What brand of bike is that Don? A Giant?

Nice write-up. What an adventure! Really enjoyed the pictures as well. I never put much thought into going to Niagara until now.
