It is likely the rubber plugs located behind the fake cooling fins that are bolted to the cylinder

Ya thats the gut Im talking about. He had at least 10 pens in his pocket by time the day was done. I do give BJ credit for all the money they raise for charity.

if you cant bend them back with a bar or your foot you can pull them straight with a good solid ratchet strap or comealong. Just make sure put another strap on the other side of the bike on the rear side as to not pull the bike over and cause more damage. and install the re eiforcements

Isnt that crazy for a car you should not drive. How many ventures could you buy for that?

Anyone else following the Barrett jackson collector car auction now? 1954 mecedes gullwing just went for $2 000 000. Where do people get that kind of money for a car that you should not drive and put in a climate controllled atmosphere? Not from being a Ford technician let me tell you.

RSV performance cam kit?
wrenchrob replied to mike_waldman56's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I really like the looks of this bike. I am interested in doing something simlar to this. I want to do it to a RSV. I want to "blacken" it out. I want to leave the front fairing on but loose the rear seat and bags. I want ot put some loud pipes, engine performance upgrades, lower it and...... I looked at a 2003 that has had some minor damage to it. I will know next saturday if the deal is going to happen. The guy selling it is going to consider my offer and see if he can sell the rear bags and trunk seperately. Actually if anyone wants to customize there RSTD with rear venture accessories let me know this week. He or I will have the trunk, both rear side bags and all brackets to attatch. Ofcourse i will be keeping my 05 venture stock for cruising. -
RSV performance cam kit?

I cant see it ever fitting. The engine itself may fit in but good luck with the intake. Maybe if you got rid of the fuel tank and strapped a gerry can on the trunk. -
That is a crazy amount of snow in a short period of time. Did you get stranded any where?

As leo3wheel said try a dent wizard. I work for a Ford dealer and they come by oftem and remove dents without being able to tell later or require any paint work. We had a hail storm last fall and about 150 cars were dented as much as 200 dents per vehicle and they did a great job removing them.

The best performance mod you can do is buy a VMAX.

Thats a real good start to a trailer. I like the idea of a diamond plate alluminum box. Rugged and not overly to heavy.
