  1. I use the mag 9. Finally a lid that fits my big forehead. I always got a sore forehead with any other helmet I used. The flip down tinted visor works well for me. Clears my eye galasses easily. As previously stated. The Jand M headsets to fit due to the thickness of the speaker. I have found with the clear shield up all the way it touches the visor on top of the helmet and has caused 2 wear mark on the shield from the contact. Other than that very pleased with fit.
  2. Thanks for the tip Condor
  3. Oh! Oh! What did I start? Speaking of _ _ _ _ ! I bought a van with snow tires on 3 weeks ago and still havnt taken them off. You can almost see the tread wearing off.
  4. Ooooooh!! Myyy! Goooooodness!! Thanks for the chuckle!
  5. Hey Dan! What word are you talking about? Please don't Hmmmm:bang head:
  6. Thats on my large list of things to do. I have about 120000kms on mine and its in the back of mind quite a bit while journeying far from home.
  7. By the way. That's a BEAUTIFUL 2 wheeler you have there:happy65:
  8. Can't agree more. I store my bike on it during the winter. It gets the bike higher off the ground to play with while waiting for that (Yep! I'm going to say it) SNOW to melt!!! Very solid!
  9. Good luck. Patience and determination wins every time. Someday I'm planning to put a voltmeter in place of my cassette deck.
  10. I just changed my E3s with 26000 Kms on them. They weren't down to the wear bars yet but the tread pattern on the front was cupping.
  11. Yep! Just as puc says. Had it happen to me on more than one bike. Tapped it back in with no issues.
  12. I removed mine to put heated grips on also. I honestly noticed any differences.
  13. you could swing by here and I would sell you this one cheap if you don't mind a road trip.
  14. Maybe fuel pump not working.
  15. I have a set of those on my 05 venture. I like the larger diameter but I find the heat from them is inadequate. Mine are ok for cool days but when the temps get down to near freezing they don't provide enough heat. I ended up getting a set of heated gloves and vest from GEERS.
  16. Thanks du Ron. That looks like a Saturday project. I think I will get a couple fuel filters and change them while I'm in there.
  17. Looking at the wiring diagram I am wondering if there is something wrong in the "starting Cut off relay assy" as there is multiple diodes in there. Does anyone know what this looks like and where it is located. I also have a 05 Venture and can switch out components to try and diagnose. Thanks Rob
  18. Also make sure it's running on all 4 cylinders. Feel the pipes and see if there all hot. Any cooler one indicates a cylinder not firing .
  19. Hmmmmmmmmmm!!!!! Getting hungry now.
  20. I have kind of a weird electrical Gremlin going on. I hopped on my 08 tour deluxe to go for a ride today. Snow on the lawn but roads were clear by the afternoon but that's ok the cold doesn't bother me. I started her up and all was good, idling like a kitten ready to turn into a lion at the first crack of the throttle. The neutral light was on, side stand down. I stood the beast up and pulled in the clutch, kicked er in gear and low and behold the big green neutral light stays on. So while idling in gear I put the side stand down and the light goes out. If the side stand is down the light corresponds with the neutral position. If the side stand is up neutral light is always on. I took the side stand switch off and took the cover off and it looks shiny and clean in there. When I switch her upto 5th gear the O/D light comes on and neutral is still on. Any of you fellow 2nd owners run into something like this?
