I recently purchased the 8.5 and so far all is good. With it down I do get a fair amount of buffeting. WIth the clear part up I look just over the top of it and no buffetting. I am about 5' 10". havnt had a passenger o;n it yet so cant comment on that. Rob

I believe that adjustable rod is only for pedal location and should have no affect on clutch or gear location.

I'm going to toronto today and can drop them off in brant ford who has them now? Have to say yah is sight is amazing.

I installed the set from super chrome. They are a little thicker than the stock grubs which I like. They come witha variable heat controller. I expected them to be warmer than they are. I leave the controller on high. Someone told me to fill the inside of the bars with spray foam. Going to try this if the snow ever melts

I went to the Toronto bike show today and had a good time. I somehow managed to keep my money in my pocket. It was kind of like a used bike flea market. I was surprised how many bikes for sale. There was only 1 venture there for sale. It was a 2007 midnight with 75000 Kms and they were asking $10500. It looked pretty decent with a couple accessories. The show was a little smaller since last time I was there. I was hoping to purchase a new full face helmet while I was there but I couldn't find the one I was looking for. I'm in the market for a modulure with a flip down tinted shield cause I where glasses. And I want a lot of vents. All and all a good day though other than the $7 Moosehead beer I had. $7 is one thing but moosehead beer is terrible.

I got a coupls headrests for you out of my truck. Even equipped with DVD players. Passenger can watch a movie while your out cruising!
