Mine is getting passing lights wired through a relay. I have the valve covers off and going to perform a vavle adjustment after I locate the necessary tool to compress the springs. There is almost 60000miles on it and I dont think it has ever been apart but I was totally impressed at how clean it is under the valve covers. It looks like new. The carbs are on the work bench and are going to be dissassembled, cleaned and the float levels checked. I am changing the coolant and replacing the cylinder drain plugs. Once I get the engine back together I want to remove the swingarm and shaft and perform any maintenaece or parts required there. I just finished changing the brake and clutch fluid. I cant ride till the springtime so this is a ggod time to give it an overhaul. Just want to say thanks to all for the threads regarding float level and valve adjustments and the cylinder coolant drain plugs. Rob

I also would like to help out a bit. I know how important Christmas is to children as I have two. A 6 year old and a 12 year old. I went to that link but I dont know how to send a donation. Can someone walk me through it? Thanks Rob

Bought it this way from a guy who pulled out infront of his neighbour. It was about a 5 mile per hour crash. The guy decided to buy the bike off of the owner instead of going through insurnace or getting the law involved. Needed 1 brake rotor, 2 lower fairings, LH crash bar, Rh running board. Thankfully neither the rider or the passenger was hurt. So far I have found new rotor and the running board. Will likely have to go to the dealer for the plastic. oooouuuuuuch! Also the upper fairing is scuffed. I will likely just paint the fairing and watch for a mint good one., i imagine my chances of finding one are slim especially in Canada. Idont see many RSVs around here.

I work at a FOrd dealer and we use it regularily in customers vehicles. It is common for automotive garages to stock it in southern ontario. I know the southern ontario distributer fairly well. I will call him and find the closest garge to you.

im not sure the price. I will check tomorrow at work. I work for a Ford dealership and we use the Bg products in engines, transmissions, and driveline components. I am going to research the differences between seafoam and BG. I am pretty sure the seafoam is alcohol based. I will post y findings tomorrow. Rob

Prayer for Johnny.....

Prayers to you Johnny.I know how bad burns are. I have first hand experience seeing a friend get burned. Not very nice at all. -
I have been using Bg 44K in my dirtbike, fourwheeler, trucks and cars and after using it and dissassembling the carbs they are spotless inside. Not only does it clean the carbs but it also keeps the valves clean and keeps the piston rings clean. This product is great and I highly recommend it o everyone. It is the true "tuneup in a can". If you are having issues with poor fuel quality and carbs gumming up or varnishing try this stuff

I would try to get the programming procedures form Clifford. If that still does not work might be best to replace the remote, probably a lot easier than repairing and cheaper.

So I take it your not looking forward to hopping on a snowmobile and cruising the thousands of groomed open trails of our vast province. Nothing like sledding at 50 m/h on a brisk -20 night with a windchill of about -8000. oh yaaaaa! -
Is there only one remote that you have? If there is another does the other one work? Sometimes I have found that the aftermarket ones will loose there programming and there will be a procedure in the installation/owners guide to reprogram. I am not familiar with the Clifford. do all functions not work ie. unlock, lock, panic?

Yes we have it pretty good here regarding the various types of roads we have. Not to mention the many numerous scenic views we have righht in our backyards. Like you say Marcarl a little snow over the winter just makes the springtime that much more enjoyable and appreciated. Rob -
