  1. walmart.com has 165/80/15 site to store. C.R.
  2. Creole, I live over in south central Ky (between Lake Cumberland and Green River lake), if your trip brings you that far and you need anything my contact info is on my page. We had a real dry summer so the leaves will not be colorful for very long in October. Also I am with the PGR here in Ky and we are having our fall get together in that area (Mammoth cave) Oct. 26-28, you and your friends would be more than welcome to join us. Ride and BBQ is Saturday, Oct. 27. Hope you have a great trip, C.R.
  3. Is it an invisible trailer? C.R.
  4. Congradulations on your new ride. C.R.
  5. Where is the link to purchase one? :confused24: C.R.
  6. Mine was doing the same thing. The small audio control swith on my circuit board had some broken solder connections, it would make contact sometimes, sometimes it wouldn't. It got to where it was changing by itself (the viberation of the bike of course was causing it). It was too small for me to resolder, so I took it off. I traced the circuits and soldered small wires to the back side of the board and connected them to a small monentary on push toggle switch. Works fine. If yours has broken connections, you might take it to a TV or Radio repair shop, they might be able to make repairs to the small control switch. C.R.
  7. Jakbag and eusa1 what's wrong with your radio control heads. My audio button would work sometimes and other times it wouldn't. When I opened it up, I found that the little control switch on the circuit board had broken loose some of the solder connections (vibration I guess). It's too small to try and resolder so I took it off the circuit board. I traced the circuit connections and you can solder two jumper wires and attach to a momentary toggle switch to control the radio head. If this is your problem, let me know and I'll open mine back up and take some pictures to show how to do this. It's a whole lot cheaper than a new or used control head. C.R.
  8. They are selling the coupon for $5.99. I bought one of those tables about a year ago and used a $299.99 coupon so it's not a scam . The salesman seemed kinda surprised though, kinda like he didn't know that a coupon for that amount of savings was out there. C.R.
  9. "The video is no longer available for your viewing pleasure" :confused24:  Must have offended someone who had the power to pull it. C.R.

  11. When I bought my H.F. trailer, I pulled the hubs off, repacked the wheel bearings and put them back on setting the bearing tightness to my preferences. The stock lights are fine until you can replace them. When you pull up to a gas pump, remember YOU HAVE A TRAILER BACK THERE! (I didn't print that from experience fortunately) If your trailer pulls anything like mine does, unless it rattles or you look back, you won't know it's back there. I really use and enjoy mine. I also lenghtened my trailer tongue two foot and put a cooler rack on it. C.R.
  12. Brian, I'm sure you are very proud. Next time you converse with him tell him "Thanks for his sacrifice and service to this great country and the freedom (which isn't free) that we still enjoy. Semper Fi, C.R.
  13. If you NEVER end up in a situation where you would need it.... It's not needed. Not that I go out looking for a situation to need it or have to use it, but I can't predict when I might need it. I'd sure rather have my CW with me than a tattoo if I should end up in one of those situations. It's like my credit card.......I never leave home without it. C.R.
  14. We get a whopping $12.50 a day here in Ky:confused:. Eat your hearts out:rotf:. C.R.
  15. Iron Horse, Welcome to VR, Glad too have you with us , no matter what you ride:whistling:. As you already know there is a lot of knowledge and information on this forum . C.R.
  16. Sorry to hear about anybody having to let their scooter go. Sometimes those decisions have to be made as hard as they are too make. Good luck and I hope things turn around for the better real soon. prayers sent. C.R.
  17. Bump it up. C.R.
  18. Congradulations on your choice of scooter. Glad to have you with us. If this is your first scooter and you haven't taken a Motorcyle Saftey Course it would be a big benifit for you to take a MSC. It's even good for a seasoned rider to take this course. We sometimes pick up some bad habits that need correcting. C.R.
  19. I'm not running Nissans down, because we own a 1999 Nissan Altima. Nissans are good vehicles, but my sister bought a new 2003 Murano, at a little over 100,000 miles she started having transmission problems. Too much to try to explain here. Google "2003 Nissan Murano transmission problems" and see what you find. The earlier models seem to have transmission troubles. I think in 2007 Nissan finally redesigned the transmission. C.R.
  20. Makes it user friendly for her to hunt with you or to hunt you? :rotf: C.R.
  21. Flyinfool, If you decide to build one don't do like my High school science teacher in the late "70"s did. Built his plane in the basement, then realized he hadn't thought about getting it out. He decided to knock the end wall out of his basement to get it out. I don't know how he was smart enough to be a science teacher or a pilot either. C.R.
  22. I haven't had (and hope not to have) a claim with Markel. I totaled our 99 RSV in Sept. 2010, didn't have any problem with Dairyland. They sent out an adjuster, he took pictures and asked what add-ons I had and what their value was. I bought the bike back to rebuild, so that amount was deducted from settlement. Only later did I find out that they didn't insure vehicles with rebuilt titles. Thats when I started looking for another ins. co. Otherwise I would still be with Dairyland. C.R.
  23. I had Dairyland ins for several years. The reason I switched to another co. was because Dairyland doesn't insure vehicles that have rebuilt titles. Both my scooters that I have now have rebuilt titles. I had full coverage on both for $114.00 per year with Dairyland. I now have full coverage with Markel American Ins. for $290.00 per year with one at fault accident counting against me. www.markelamerican.com If your scooter doesn't have a rebuilt title it might save you some money to check out Dairyland. If you have good credit that is a plus and will get you a better rate. C.R.
