  1. Being able to see better at night outweighs any cons as far as I'm concerned. Especially as thick as the deer are around here. I actually changed mine to 4.5 inch headlights so I have 2 more high beams. Makes a world of difference when looking for those critters at night.
  2. Hey, If you can RUN faster than the speed limit you shouldn't get a ticket. :rotf:
  3. That's why I like South Texas.... Course, these people can't drive in the rain much less snow, Don't even think about ice...

  10. Always liked that one. Actually I always liked Red. He was Funny.
  11. Its too bad that they have to make laws for something that should be common sense. When moving you should be looking in the direction your going. As a young lad I ran (on foot) into a tree once and that taught me to look where I was going. Trees and limbs leave bark imprints on ones forehead..
  12. Been there. Both of our Boxers died in 07. One I had to put down. Its tough. They both had strokes. Just as you described the first one, the female, she began have problems getting up off the floor. Could not get her rear legs under her even after trying for a couple of minutes. She died in her sleep a month or 2 after those symptoms started showing. It was weird because sometimes she could get up just fine. But I noticed one side of her face looked like it was not smiling... Then Max had one about 3 months later and it was a pretty bad one. He could not control his bladder. One side of his face he totally lost control of, to the point where he was drooling a lot. He then began having problems getting up off the floor. Also walking crooked. Had to have him put down. Of course the Vets wanted me to throw thousands of dollars at it. YOU CANNOT defeat old age....
  13. Never locked up the helmet. Figure they don't want my old sweaty, smelly helmet anyway.
  14. That switch has to be cycled if you leave it on all the time and turn the bike off then back on. So you need to keep that switch functional or you won't be able to use the Cruise Control.
  15. NO RIDING ON ICE.. .. Bikes don't handle it well.... Aren't you glad the crash bars are there. Made use of mine on a few occasions.
  16. :doh:You know, Standin in a room full of Texans and saying SHOOT may not be the wisest thing to do....

  21. If you lost the CPU fan it may have already fried the CPU. Todays CPU's get very hot very quickly and with no fan will overheat in a very short time. Depends on the MB manf. Some are better than others when it comes to fail/safe systems. Good luck.
  22. I swallowed enough bugs in my time thank you very much. Some I didn't even get to taste.
  23. I love South Texas. No SNOW.... Its real purty at first. Then it gets to be a mucky, muddy, COLD mess..... It is fun to drive in though.....
  24. She tried that. When I started goin out on the front porch she stopped. :rotf: Something about the neighbors and me being a hillybilly.
  25. Each muffler has a set of small holes. 4 or 5 I think. That is for condensation drainage. Yes, you will feel a little coming out of them when the bike is running but that's just the way it is.
