I would check out a chevy 4x4 site like this one. I have found lots of good info on my F-150 on similar sites.

They are on the way John.

There should be a cable in there with a small fuse in the line, came in the box. One end screws into the Motorcycle mount using very small screws. The other end ( with the fuse) can be connected to the Cig lighter wiring inside the fairing.

I use this.

Found this. Maybe if we find all of them we can have a real big party .lol $40,000.00 will go a long way http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/12/04/darpa.balloon.challenge/index.html

Split the fairing and putt the large round connectors apart. work them a few times and then put some dielectric grease on them. That may fix the problem.

I bet you like Liver and Onions too.. It is a matter of personal taste. I don't like coffee either. So I drink diet coke for my buzz....

Been sober about 3 weeks short of 28 years. I won't eat anything cooked with alcohol in it. I don't go into bars either. Cough medicine probably has more in it than anything cooked and I will use cough medicine when needed. Its not enough enough to feel the effects if you follow the directions. I guess its the idea that it had beer or wine in it. I also use Jack Daniels marinade but it doesn't have any alcohol/whiskey in it to begin with.I won't drink non alcoholic beer. Beer taste like crap anyway. The only reason for drinking it is to get a buzz or drunk. And as an Alcoholic the goal of drinking is to get drunk. There's no in between. There's no stopping after the first drink until you can't see, walk, or stand. And that's how my twisted mind works... I don't keep myself sober God does. And that's how its been these last 27 years.

me,me,me, San Antonio ,TX. Had to wear a jacket today though. It was only 50 something.....

For a plug and play replacement you would want to use another OEM. They stink as far as level of sound. Many of us have put the Striebel Airhorn there. But you'll have to wire up a relay. If you still want the OEM I'm sure someone here has one they would be willing to get rid of. I don't know where mine is or I would offer it to you. Good Luck

$27. I fryed a 14lb one. It took a little less than 3 gallons and about 45 minutes. Maybe you got too big a turkey fryer. I'll reuse the oil over the next couple of months also.

Guess a plastic bucket won't work huh ?

I know most everybody knows this but saw this the other night and reminded me of tomorrow. I'll be deep frying ours but it will be in the driveway. If you should catch the oil on fire DON'T use water..... http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-water-and-oil.html http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-fanning-the-grease-fire-flames.html http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-small-scale-disaster.html http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/time-warp-grease-fire-close-up.html

Drilling may not be a good idea. But something that would really work well would be Goop. It dries pliable but last forever. I have some LED light bars mounted upside down under the saddlebags for the last 4 years with nothing but some Automotive Goop. Its really good stuff.

We get humid days and dry days. Seems more are humid. You'll have to go west of here for dryer weather. Del Rio is a desert town and only a couple of hours away. That maybe someplace you want to consider.

Loved southern CA but its a parking lot twice a day for 4 hours each time and its expensive. We get pretty good winter weather here in San Antonio. If a Northerner blows in its usually gone in a couple of days and back into the upper 60's and low 70's. But it can be cold for those couple of days.

:rotf: That's a real good start.

Hey, I R Rich.... :rotf:

Its an ugly cable. It could be plugged in right where you plug your helmet in. Its a lot neater to put it under the fairing. If you want one to plug in on top I can try to make it a little less messy. Let me know
