Went out for an afternoon ride to-day.Only -6 by radio. Was out for about5 hours went for coffee with friend then went home to do things around the house for tomorrow then went out for supper. It was great getting out and wasn't actually not that cold on the bike. It seemed colder when off bike.Wife still thinks I was nuts.

Loose out again! Seems every time there is a deal I am too far away to take advantage of it. Oh well maybe next time something will come up again. -
Am working midnights now so rode to work Mon at 10:30pm and came out at 7am Tues. morning to icy roads and snow on the running boards. Roads were too bad to drive home and as you would know it my BACK-UP RIDES I had lined up to give me a ride home so I could get my truck and trailer to pick bike up later had GONE HOME with-out even asking if I still needed a ride!!! So made it a couple blocks to Tim Hortons for a coffee(Harley rider who put his away a month ago followed me there) and called a cab to go home.

Out for a ride this morning after getting off midnight work and decided to ride to Marcarl's to check-out new digs. VVVEEERRRYYY NICE (pretty organized with plenty of shelves and benches,office space and heated.) and sorry Marca the house is too(Carl is in the midst of fixing it up)(off to a good start).Shared a coffee and cookie and then drove to dealer down the road to see what they had on the showroom floor and seen the 2009S model for $21999 + tax. Was ready to leave then spotted 2010 sitting at the end of the line for$22999+. It was black with flames and also the S trim. Have seen one converted here in Ontario that was for sale this past spring and it looked pretty good. Not sure what was involved in the conversion tho. I think there was a post here before about his but not sure. Like they say anything IS possible with a little work.

VVVVEEEEERRRRYYYYYY NNNNNIIIICCCCCEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm defiantly jealous ,almost in tears when I seen garage(Big difference from watching you try and get bike in and out of old shed)(house is nice too). Congrats all around.

Sorry couldn't make the ride as Unio meeting lasted past 12:00pm so only ridding I got in was from home to London and back. Great weather to ride anyways. Going to pick up boys new (to him 06Pontiac G6) car tomorrow. Hopefully will get out for a ride before I have to go to Midnights in October. Contract concessions were voted on and passed by 64%.

SORRY just found out we have to look at a car for my son in Stratford because he can't until the week-end,so I guess a ride is off tonight.

Would love to go BUT we have a BIG union contract CONCESSION vote that day Is there still a Tuesday ride planned????? I work days this week and get off at 1:30 and home by 4:30.

Just found out today(finally)that the adjuster said the truck is a write-off(as if we didn't already know)So we have to go and get the plates off it and anything else that's ours,then we start looking for a cheaper vehicle since the wife lost job 4weeks ago so we couldn't afford new again.Some think they should replace with a comparable vehicle but they pay you back then what is left is what you have to spend(we have 2 year full restitution of vehicle (price of vehicle returned)BUT that goes to pay off bank then what we paid in the last 16months is ours(not anywhere near as nice a vehicle as we had) BUT as we say IT REALLY COULD BE WORSE We are all still here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES we DID consider ALL that could have happened but like they say that's 20/20 and what happened- happened.Just glad ours wasn't tragic which could have been and the other senerio didn't happen to them. Thanks for all the well wishing----the ladies appreciate it. Turns out sister in law has a severely fractured ankle with bumps/bruises & a few cuts. Wife(Bev) has some pretty nasty lower bruising from seat belts pics are not available(right ladies) both are still pretty sore and wife's nerve's are still hanging on as we have the sister in law still staying at our house so she doesn't have to go up 3 flites of stairs at her apartment. She could be going home next week after they do a CT scan of ankle to see if it is lined up enough for a regular cast.

Got call last night from son that wife and sister was in accident. Got to hospital and was told she was fine but with multiple bumps ,bruises,seat belt rash etc,sister in law has dislocated ankle and arm is spattered with glass cuts etc.. Was hit on passenger front wheel by 17yr old running stop-sign then car came around and slammed passenger side in ,then pushed her sideways about 50-60 feet thru corn-field before stopping.Lucky we had side air-bags(Mitsubishi Outlander sport-utility) Saw it in the dark at impound so it was hard to see but passenger side is wiped out,will post pictures as soon as I can. Of course wife gave me heck for leaving work and wasn't going to call me at 9:00pm break to tell me to stay at work(accident around 4-5pm) Both women are pretty sore this morning and sister in law is hobbling around on crutches. Have to go to insurance for coverage and rental car etc. Kid was on gravel road and was only charged with failing to stop at sign with $150 fine and 3 points. Police said he tried to stop but brother in law said he only seen marks on pavement around impact site and not in gravel where they said. O-WELL what can you do they said he talked with Sargent and he agreed.(will see myself today)

Wayne I told you that I am on afternoons this week! Maybe next week depending on weather & money as wife's plant is still being blockaded by union and workers to try and get their severance that is owed to them.

Here are pics I took on the ride bongobobny/Wizard765/Becky/Robin and I went on after getting Wizards bike back on the road. We took the New Yorkers to see Port Dover where Friday the 13th is held ,had some lunch and did some shopping then went along the lake to get some ice cream and then parted ways till next time. Had impromptu meet&greet-maintenance and eat day on Canada day but without a ride. We worked on Wizard765's new trailer and Evan from Toronto area bike to fix a couple things. It turned out to be a not so bad day with threatening skies but no rain just a few sprinkles. Carl did a good job on the trailer and it should be done soon.We had good food & conversation. Too bad we couldn't see a few more people but maybe next year! Even talked Phanton Wife(My wife Beverly) to come and eat & converse with us for a while! Hopefully weather cooperates for the morning as I am waiting for a ride.Hopefully will be going to Brantford tonight when wife has to go in for midights to help her fellow workers stop the company(Meriddian ) from allowing its machinery (actualy belongs to customer but plant is up for sale and nobody is telling the workers anything) Already stopped from removing injection dies from leaving and has to go back to help blockade the plant-----which is kind of hard with only 35-50 workers currently working and 400++ laid-off and holiday time. Have had in a bunch of workers from other unions today to help tho.Doesn't look good tho.

Forgot about rides. Went to Kitchener for Zeke's bike-night(seems to be new people took it over and not the same) a week ago and was pretty bored and would have rather been on a ride instead as fellow rider(Don from work--he came with me to Carl's last year on his Suzuki) works strait nights so go on my own(phantom wife doesn't go out week nights as she is too tired after work[might be able to convince her on holidays tho---will see]).Will be on holidays next 2 weeks so WILL TRY to make some . Looking forward to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!:fingers-crossed-emo:thumbsup2:
