  1. Your morning devotional. Classic example: At dinner, a little boy was forced to lead the family into prayer. The little boy said" but I don't know how to pray. His Dad said "just pray for your family members, friends and neighbors, the poor, etc. The little boy said "Dear Lord. Thank you for our visitors and their children, who finished all my cookies and ice cream. Bless them so they won’t come again. Forgive our neighbor's son, who removed my sister's clothes and wrestled with her on her bed. This coming Christmas, please send clothes to all those poor naked ladies on my daddy's blackberry and provide shelter for the homeless men who use mom's room when daddy is at work. AMEN" Mom and Dad did not have dinner that evening......

  3. In the line at the store, the cashier told the older woman that she should > >>>bring her own grocery bag because plastic bags weren't good for the > >>>environment. > >>>The woman apologized to him and explained, > >>>"We didn't have the green thing back in my day." > >>> > >>>The clerk responded, "That's our problem today. > >>>The former generation did not care enough to save our environment." > >>> > >>>He was right; that generation didn't have the "green thing" in its day. > >>> > >>>Back then, they returned their milk bottles, > >>>soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. > >>>The store sent them back to the plant to be washed > >>>and sterilized and refilled, > >>>so it could use the same bottles over and over. > >>>So they really were recycled. > >>> > >>>But they didn't have the "green thing" back in that customer's day. > >>> > >>>In her day, they walked up stairs, > >>>because they didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. > >>>They walked to the grocery store and > >>>didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine > >>>every time they had to go two blocks. > >>> > >>>But she was right. 4. I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, And I have even done it myself A couple times unintentionally But this one is real, and it's Important. Please send this warning to everyone On your e- mail list. If a woman comes to your front door Saying they are checking for ticks Due to the warm weather And asks you to take your clothes off And dance around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT!! THIS IS A SCAM!! They only want to see you naked. I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid.
  5. In keeping with tradition on here, post what ya got for Christmas. (I know, I am so materialistic) I got... Best of all...everyone here for Christmas! Playstation 3 with Black Ops Motorcycle cover Clothes New boots Shoulder holster and extra magazine And a tool set I really like
  6. this is something that really seems quite right!! you think?? I AM THANKFUL: FOR THE WIFE WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT, BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME, AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE. FOR THE HUSBAND WHO IS ON THE SOFA BEING A COUCH POTATO, BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS. FOR THE TEENAGER WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME, NOT ON THE STREETS. FOR THE TAXES I PAY BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM EMPLOYED. FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS. FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT. FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME. FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION. FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS I CAN HEAR. FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR. FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE. AND FINALLY, FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL BECAUSE: IT MEANS I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME. SEND THIS TO SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT. I JUST DID. Live well, Laugh often, and Love with all of your heart!
  7. Babies that is! We had the grand daughters for the past couple nights. One is 3 and the other is almost 14 months. I just couldn't help but wonder just how inefficient their eating habits are. I mean half their food ends up either on the floor, on their clothes, or all over the high chair. I wonder just how much food is wasted by babies alone each year?
  8. Walmart has offered (recyclable) blue bags for groceries and other items bought (50 cents). That way you can save the world not using plastic. They are kinda a nice heavy paper product. I put our traveling clothes in the bags and drop them right in the saddle bags of the venture. Two bags fit perfectly into each side. When you get to the hotel, just grab the bags and go into the room. works for me.
  9. I have been looking at heated clothes and talked to one guy that told me year one or something like that sold some that were reasonable but I cant find them anyone hear of them?? I dont want to spend a ton of money just dont want to freeze to death on the bike. Thanks Kevin
  10. After serious & cautious consideration.....your contract of friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2008! It was a very hard decision to make. So try not to screw it up!!! My Wish for You in 2008 May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ............ May 2008be the best year of your life!!!
