Nice bike and good for you to get it running and back to it's glory!

Got out for 50klm ride to Kitchener Ont. to meet up with @ReinyRooster and Don for coffee and to pick up his carb tuner! had a good conversation and decided to go for ice-cream. Only @ReinyRoosterand I went as Don had other things to do(his loss) Ended up going to Listowel Ont. which is 48min.and 60klmfrom where we were! Was fairly strait roads but was STILL A RIDE with the prize of ICE-CREAM in the end! We had hard ice-cream in a cup which was worth the ride! We parted ways on the way back around Anna Mays(very popular Mennonite restaurant) and was an hour and a half ride back home for me(90klm). NO I didn't have trailer so couldn't shop anywhere! Ended up being a very hot ride but don't care! was great to meet up with someone! Weather said it was 30 to 40degFer. with humidity! Hope this won't be the last meet-up!

Tested across battery terminals today with battery at 12.85volt and engine reved, tester said 12.88volt. Riding around my volt gage was showing 12.3v. 11.9v with highbeam on. Acording to repair manual, symptoms say probably Voltage regulator. Anyway to test? Book says you have to try good one in place. Have spare battery incase right now!

@saddlebum yes it was nice with getting together at Timmies then going for ice cream afterwards! Should have paid more attention to the date as forgot it was long weekend! Also got to ride with 2 other Ventures on the way to Kitchener then I broke off to go to Princes Auto to do some shopping, Over $130 worth!! Looking forward to next one!

Sorry, I thought I posted where and when! Figured same as we usually go but forgot about people who haven't been before! (This is why I let others do planning) Coffee at Tim Hortons at 1084 Rest Acres Rd Paris Ontario. If comming 403 highway from West take 24 North turn-off, then I think 2 or 3 roundabouts and Tim's is on left side in plaza. East bound 403 take 24 North turn off go 2 roundabouts and is on left side in plaza. Ice-cream will be at Paris Twisted Treats 98 Scott Ave. It is in North end of Paris. Can find these spots on Google Maps also!

Ben (saddlebum) also good to hear from you also!
-
Good to hear from you Evan, how are you and Anne doing? Sorry to hear about the Ventures! Would also like to meet up again! This meet is for the 31st, which is supposed to be good weather wise! If distance is a factor we could check with Ben (saddlebum)afterwards to maybe meet around his place later as wife (Phantom Wife) doesn't want me in traffic where you live!
-
Long range forecast is rain for the first few days I thought about but the 31st looks good around 4 or so.
-
Just checked and days being looked at are 23rd(Tuesday)with 24th (Wednesday)as rain date 24th with 31st (Thursday)as rain date 31st with August 1st (Friday)as rain date Time?

So wood a week day around 5pm work or would it have to be a Saturday? A week day might be OK temperature wise(might be cooler) but might have to change depending if it rains!
-
Thanks for the reply! Had great but very hot and humid day but didn't look like it was going to be as it it rained so hard last night that it was hard to see even with wiper on high(making sure signs I distributed were still up) wife said we made $110 dollars, which she doesn't think we will have another sale again! Got really windy around 1pm as we were getting ready to put things away (both sun shades we had set up were blown over) ended up taking 2 car loads of stuff to Good Will so they can distribute to needy! Have to wait till tomorrow to pickup bike from oldest boy's garage as I kept it there so it was out of the way! Will get out tomorrow!

Any suggestions would be welcome!

Was wondering if any Ontario riders are interested in getting together for a coffee and or Ice-cream in the near future? Even if caging it , just miss getting to see people! I am available any day (depending on time, weather etc) Have someone asking (Don in Kitchener)and am trying to figure out when he would be able to meet and how we could coordinate with time andplace(weekend or later in the day during the week) will also contact Reiny Rooster in Kitchener! Saw he has his Venture up for sale or trade for Gold Wing on the Market Place site!

Been out a few times this week but mostly late afternoon as temperatures were a bit too warm out to be comfortable. Wife talked me into having yard sale so will be busy tomorrow. Selling all her coats, chaps etc as she hasn't rode with me in 4 years so just taking up space!
-
Again congratulations!!! Enjoy!!

@Chaharlyactually the event is well behaved even with at least 3 major Bike groups including Hell's Angels to name one! Lots of police presence every where! Not as many having the riot guns and body armor like some past times! Every one seems to get along as like the area is neutral ground! You don't bother them,They don't bother you!

Went for 200klm(125ml) ride last Friday. Went to Port Dover to the only Friday The 13th this year!(get together for all kinds of bikes(mostly Harley)and motorcycle riders from all over Canada(some from Manitoba,Alberta,Quebec, and some from US)Estimated to be around over 100,000 bikes. And as usual there were a few accidents on way and home for a few riders.(around 6 that we know of,luckily no deaths)
