  1. @paysaw, did you ride the Vision down or drive?
  2. Didn't make the ride to Port Dover on Friday the 13th like I wanted to a took Phantom to doctor appointment then by the time we got home it started to SNOW again! with in an hour we had several in's on the ground! It snowed really hard for several hours till I could finally get out to plow it! Still snowing off and on since then! Now will have to try and make the last one this year in November I guess! Trying to get things moved around in garage so can get bike on bike table to get a few things checked! Mostly would like to get Stator and Voltage Regulator checked! Have been looking up U-Tube and information on the site to see what is involved!
  3. What @Midicat & @Woody said ,also what I told guys at work about Lottery, will be here till everyone gives in!!!! ALWAYS worth the money!!!

    Test

    Working!
  5. Been blowing and plowing snow this last week! Also repairing units as things went south! Roads were clear for a few days then Bam snow again! -19cel this morning when I picked up son from work! Got oil and filter the other day now just have to change it!
  6. Well didn't make it out to Friday The 13th on Friday as I would normally do! There was too much snow and ice on the roads around our area so Phantom Wife and I spent some of the day visiting with our Grand Daughter and her mom and dad instead! Turned out to be a great day and will probably try to make the next 2 times which are next month and then November! Also I had repairs to do on my tractors and snow-blower! Had major problem with the one lawn cutter tractor I modified to mount a blower onto as when I was blowing snow something let go and PTO went out of commission! Did get another PTO but is not going on like it should and also noticed that bolt broke off inside shaft so now I have to try and get it out! If I can't get it out I will have to change out motor with a spare motor I have on another tractor I bought years ago! Still looking for a blower for the SearsSS16 tractor I have but everything is in the U.S. Was out yesterday cleaning up the ends of lane-ways and clearing snow down to concrete sidewalks when I shut of tractor to shovel but when I went to start up tractor starter just whined. Towed it back to garage and got it working again!
  7. Been out snow plowing and blowing the past week with my Craftsman 15.5hp that is a grass cutter! Modified it to mount a Berco 40" snow blower , then electric PTO unit let go and now waiting to get it fixed! My red MTD 12hp tractor(also a grass cutter) that I modified 20 some odd years ago with rear plow is still used when there is less than 3"of snow! Also I use my new to me Sears SS16(16hp twin garden tractor made for plowing and snow blowing) it can push thru snow piles and thru burms that plow trucks push into lane-ways and corners of sidewalks with no trouble! Only thing with the sears is it is fairly slow(I usually do around 10 to 13 lane-ways and sidewalks so average time to do this it takes at least 6hrs or more! Then I also use my 9hp 26" Husqvarna snow blower as backup when it is wet snow or over 6" deep! Waiting for new PTO ordered should be here before weekend) Been looking for accessories equipment for the Sears tractor!
  8. -18cel(1f) here in Ontario Canada and chance for more snow tonight over a foot a few days ago!
  9. Haven't been out this winter like I normally have! Mostly because mother nature can't make up her mind ! Either too cold, rain, snow or too windy! Also Phantom Wife! Hopefully will be able to ride to Friday The 13th in Port Dover Ontario(around an hour ride) There are 3 Friday The 13th this year!
  10. Was out for 4hr ride on Mon to pick up a bundle of tobacco sticks to use for making picture frames for my wife and friends diamond paintings! wasn't bad when I left but got quite chilly by time I got home. Today it is snowing again!

Found the article on Google news feed! Don't know if true or not!

    V-Max

Has anyone else see the right up about the 2025 V-Max with the Liquid Cooled 1679cc V4 engine? Just read it! That is the engine they should of put in the redesigned Venture instead of the V-twin and they would have had a winner bike in my opinion!
  14. Will still have bike ready to go anytime this winter(bike is kept on a long dolly that can be moved around to keep near wall so I can move out anytime) as long as no ice and little salt but like you all say we are getting older and Phantom Wife is always on my case about ridding unsafe ,which I think I'm doing my best!!
  15. Nice bike and good for you to get it running and back to it's glory!
  16. Got out for 50klm ride to Kitchener Ont. to meet up with @ReinyRooster and Don for coffee and to pick up his carb tuner! had a good conversation and decided to go for ice-cream. Only @ReinyRoosterand I went as Don had other things to do(his loss) Ended up going to Listowel Ont. which is 48min.and 60klmfrom where we were! Was fairly strait roads but was STILL A RIDE with the prize of ICE-CREAM in the end! We had hard ice-cream in a cup which was worth the ride! We parted ways on the way back around Anna Mays(very popular Mennonite restaurant) and was an hour and a half ride back home for me(90klm). NO I didn't have trailer so couldn't shop anywhere! Ended up being a very hot ride but don't care! was great to meet up with someone! Weather said it was 30 to 40degFer. with humidity! Hope this won't be the last meet-up!
  17. Tested across battery terminals today with battery at 12.85volt and engine reved, tester said 12.88volt. Riding around my volt gage was showing 12.3v. 11.9v with highbeam on. Acording to repair manual, symptoms say probably Voltage regulator. Anyway to test? Book says you have to try good one in place. Have spare battery incase right now!
  18. @saddlebum yes it was nice with getting together at Timmies then going for ice cream afterwards! Should have paid more attention to the date as forgot it was long weekend! Also got to ride with 2 other Ventures on the way to Kitchener then I broke off to go to Princes Auto to do some shopping, Over $130 worth!! Looking forward to next one!

  23. Sorry, I thought I posted where and when! Figured same as we usually go but forgot about people who haven't been before! (This is why I let others do planning) Coffee at Tim Hortons at 1084 Rest Acres Rd Paris Ontario. If comming 403 highway from West take 24 North turn-off, then I think 2 or 3 roundabouts and Tim's is on left side in plaza. East bound 403 take 24 North turn off go 2 roundabouts and is on left side in plaza. Ice-cream will be at Paris Twisted Treats 98 Scott Ave. It is in North end of Paris. Can find these spots on Google Maps also!
  24. Sorry to hear! Condolences to his family!!
