  1. Replacement seat's and backrest installed and love them!
  2. Wednesday Picked up replacement seat to replace my ripped pillow top on my 2012 Venture on Wednesday (from @ReinyRooster) and with ride there then to visit @Marcarl after having coffee with @XV1100SE & @ReinyRooster I put over 200klm on my "first ride this season" . Friday after figuring out how Utopia backrest mounted I met up again With @XV1100SE for coffee after he was done work. Today did about 100klm to get the feel of the new to me seat and adjust backrest which fits me great and is a lot more comfortable glad I bought it with the replacement seat as mine was half the size and very uncomfortable but was better than nothing! Looking forward to many more Klm's and get-together with my fellow Ontario Canada riders and hopefully some American riders(depends on Phantom Rider) to come!!!!
  3. Sorry I guess I didn't say enough about my post. @XV1100SE is ""THINKING"" about starting again but this is in Ontario Canada around Brantford Kitchener Woodstock area I think not confirmed have to wait for him to post!!!
  4. Did over 200klm yesterday on my first ride yesterday! Met up with @ReinyRooster and @XV1100SE for coffee and pick up replacement pillow top seats (mine ripped between buttons) also got a Utopia back rest. Met up @Marcarl and had a visit with him and his wife Marca also! @XV1100SE is thinking about getting our meet ups started again here in our area!
  5. Video didn't work for me!
  6. Went out for first ride this year and put in around 200klm. Rode to @ReinyRooster home and picked up a replacement for my ripped pillow top seat for my 2012 Royal Star. Also bought his Utopia back rest as it looks like it will support my back better than the small one I have! Both @ReinyRooster and @XV1100SE said they love them! Now just have to install them.
  7. This is the latest I have waited to get out for my first ride. Went out for 1&1/2 hours . Will be ridding to Kitchener tomorrow to meet up (hopefully)with @ReinyRooster & @XV1100SE
  8. Happy Easter from Phantom Wife and I also!!
  9. Bike all cleaned up yesterday and waiting for rain and now snow to stop and dry up so can get out!!!! Looking forward to getogethers this year!!!!
  10. Hope things are going the way you want and hope to still hear from you here!!! You should stay around!! Also hope new owner joins up!
  11. Nice sounding engine you have with that conversion!! Seen discussion about converting to single carb but there was never a video.Keep up the good work!!!!
  12. Love my pillow top seat on my 2012 which has almost 180,000klms on it. It's been to Illinois and many other states for rallies and maintenance days. Was driven to work every day except winter snow on roads. Was road so much that it has split at several seams and needs to be repaired but haven't had a chance to get done. Son says great nephew does appolstery work but might need more material. Have looked on sights but replacement seats are way out of my affordable price range or too far away.
  13. I agree with everyone here as it is YOUR decision not anyone else's ! Phantom Wife(my other half)quit riding with me back a couple years ago when I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 and lost 100lbs over that winter. I miss having her ride along with me but I understand!! But I myself do not intend on stopping riding any time soon!!! As someone said you have the choice to come back any time YOU want but until then enjoy what you want to do for now!!
  14. @steamerIf you meant "new trike" aren't we supposed to post picture's?
  15. Sorry to hear this and hope for a speedy recovery!!! Wouldn't wish that on anybody!!
  16. Hope everyone had a great year and looking forward to a better new year!!
  17. Couldn't watch video as it said problems with it. 2 Thursdays ago had a side-swipe incident with car in front slowing down stopping and not turning onto street he was going to. Guy taking his driving test in his own car and hesitated too long and I stopped beside his rear bumper on passenger side missing him BUT I lost footing and bike fell over and put a couple scratches on his plastic cover and a couple on my front fender. No harm to me as I just stepped off. Police just happened to pull up just after and we picked bike up. Rode to reporting center and took statement. No charges! Payed out of pocket as it was only around $600 and guy said that was OK. Put in as report only to insurance BUT they put down as at fault so will have to see what that will cost me.
  18. Yesterday was out for a few hours as I had to change over rims and tires on truck today. Temp was 10deg C(60F) here and it was a great day for ridding. Today would have been great also .
  19. @uncledj I remember that age and like what has been said I was once getting to 30 and now I'm way past 60(just turned 68 last week) WHERE did it go??????????
