Thanks again to @Marcarlfor his help on Saturday morning to help me check my Stator! I'm in the process of pricing out a new Stator and gaskets. Dealer wants $550can and is on back order right now. Went to another shop and they can get me a Ricks Stator for $340can + tax and is in-stock. Phantom Wife says to get one and nobody has the gasket for Cover2 but I can get the Cover1 gasket! Not going to buy a replacement Voltage Regulator as it over $250can and @Marcarl opinion is the old one should be OK!

Just saw your reply! I will tomorrow! Things have been off lately so haven't had a chance.

Finally found connector for Stator and I think I did it right except haven't tried test with bike running as I have to wait until Phantom can run throttle for me! Followed @Freebirds updated file on this took me a while to find the right plug to disconnect to do test. Checked for Stator coil resistance 1-2, 1-3, 2-3 and it showed .3ohms(used the 200ohm setting on lower right) Did next test on higher Ohms setting(kept it on 200 as instructions said ^100. Touched pins from pins to ground and reading was .5 To do AC test I put meter on 200~(upper left on dial with AC button pushed down(by Mastercraft) and touched 1-2,1-3,and 2-3 meter said around 23,24 Then last test was highest Ohms setting 20M and test showed 0.00,pins to ground. Did I do the test right with my meter or should I try and get some help????

Snowed here in Woodstock Ontario Canada yesterday, not alot just enough to almost cover grass and road! Salt trucks were out in my area of town and left just enough salt on the road to leave a strip on our corners, snow was gone by lunch now there is mess on the road!

Snowed overnight! Gone by 10am and warmed up considerably!

Still fairly cold and rainy (chance of light snow maybe) but was out yesterday (finally) for first ride of the year!!

tried to enter this elsewhere but couldn't! Want to try and test stator and voltage regulator as bike hasn't been charging like it should (carry spare battery in saddle bag)! Looked up in maintenance area and pretty sure my tester doesn't have same settings needed to test right. What settings can I use on this tester. Think I need one for AC test. Any help!

Didn't make the ride to Port Dover on Friday the 13th like I wanted to a took Phantom to doctor appointment then by the time we got home it started to SNOW again! with in an hour we had several in's on the ground! It snowed really hard for several hours till I could finally get out to plow it! Still snowing off and on since then! Now will have to try and make the last one this year in November I guess! Trying to get things moved around in garage so can get bike on bike table to get a few things checked! Mostly would like to get Stator and Voltage Regulator checked! Have been looking up U-Tube and information on the site to see what is involved!

What @Midicat & @Woody said ,also what I told guys at work about Lottery, will be here till everyone gives in!!!! ALWAYS worth the money!!!

Been blowing and plowing snow this last week! Also repairing units as things went south! Roads were clear for a few days then Bam snow again! -19cel this morning when I picked up son from work! Got oil and filter the other day now just have to change it!

Well didn't make it out to Friday The 13th on Friday as I would normally do! There was too much snow and ice on the roads around our area so Phantom Wife and I spent some of the day visiting with our Grand Daughter and her mom and dad instead! Turned out to be a great day and will probably try to make the next 2 times which are next month and then November! Also I had repairs to do on my tractors and snow-blower! Had major problem with the one lawn cutter tractor I modified to mount a blower onto as when I was blowing snow something let go and PTO went out of commission! Did get another PTO but is not going on like it should and also noticed that bolt broke off inside shaft so now I have to try and get it out! If I can't get it out I will have to change out motor with a spare motor I have on another tractor I bought years ago! Still looking for a blower for the SearsSS16 tractor I have but everything is in the U.S. Was out yesterday cleaning up the ends of lane-ways and clearing snow down to concrete sidewalks when I shut of tractor to shovel but when I went to start up tractor starter just whined. Towed it back to garage and got it working again!

Been out snow plowing and blowing the past week with my Craftsman 15.5hp that is a grass cutter! Modified it to mount a Berco 40" snow blower , then electric PTO unit let go and now waiting to get it fixed! My red MTD 12hp tractor(also a grass cutter) that I modified 20 some odd years ago with rear plow is still used when there is less than 3"of snow! Also I use my new to me Sears SS16(16hp twin garden tractor made for plowing and snow blowing) it can push thru snow piles and thru burms that plow trucks push into lane-ways and corners of sidewalks with no trouble! Only thing with the sears is it is fairly slow(I usually do around 10 to 13 lane-ways and sidewalks so average time to do this it takes at least 6hrs or more! Then I also use my 9hp 26" Husqvarna snow blower as backup when it is wet snow or over 6" deep! Waiting for new PTO ordered should be here before weekend) Been looking for accessories equipment for the Sears tractor!
