It's good to hear you got away and took a break. Thats definitely a drag about not being able to spend some time on the scoot, I would be a more miserable guy if I only had that many miles on this year. I can relate to your A/C woes, been stupid busy down here too...and hot! Hope we get to catch up with you folks again soon, try to snatch a ride on that scoot. You know all about "All work and no play" be safe bro.

Well, those that know me here will get a good laugh out of this, y'all will. When I was young, not even in my 20's yet, my best friend and I would always hook up after we got off work and go out drinking. I can remember on more than 1 occasion that we ran out of beverage in the cab of the old '72 Chevy truck he had at the time. The other beer was in the bed cold in the cooler. Without missing a beat or him slowing down I crawled out the side window into the bed of the truck, tossed in a few beverages, and climbed right back in, all while he was doing 55mph. Then there was the time when he and another good friend of ours were in his '78 Volare. Screwing around on the back country roads and generally being dumb arses. We were flying (80mph+) down Hessen Road in St. Clair county we totally forgot about the 4 ft drop off in the road. There just happens to be a stop sign there at 32 mile rd about 100 yards from that drop off. Yeah, you know where I'm going here, Dukes of Hazzard car was airborne for about 60 yards and all 3 of us doing that "Oh chit" cry. Car finally touched down locked up the brakes and power slid that Plymouth onto west bound 32 mile rd before we hit the ditch on the other side I can laugh at it now, but if there was another car coming we all would have been dead I have no doubt. There are so many others, but that will have to be saved for a campfire at a rally

As far as I know this is just for the main H4 headlight bulb. Unless your driving lights have H4 bulbs in them, they wont be compatible.

JT, I have to apologize my friend, I didn't even think of getting ahold of you, just assumed you knew. We did represent well as quite a few of the Houston crew were able to make the celebration of life ceremony. Again I'm sorry that I didn't search you out, the way things were headed with Don, it was a blessing in disguise.

Rear Shock PSI...What's Your Number?
Squidley replied to Midicat's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
On the 1st gens "Richard" (sorry Darrin can't run with this one ) There is a dampening knob that has 4 settings to reduce or increase the rear shock rebound rate. 1 thru 4 is on the dial, the higher the # the more the rebound dampening....I'm here for you buddy -
Rear Shock PSI...What's Your Number?
Squidley replied to Midicat's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Tom, It somewhat depends upon how heavy you are and how still you like the suspension. I am 280 lbs and like my suspension a bit stiffer for running the twisties when I get the chance. Now mind you mine is a US model and we are PSI as the measurement increments. I have mine set at 45 to 50 psi rear shock and nothing in the front due to having Progressive springs in the '89. I usually ran about 12 to 15 lbs in the front shocks before I installed progressives. I have my dampening at #3, it's all a matter of how you ride and want to feel on the bike. Experiment with it a bit and you'll find your sweet spot. -
Does that supposedly go for all the photos that are seen of you behaving

Dan.....I'm proud of you my friend, I can say strait faced I wouldn't have been able to do what you did. The part of being an adult that sucks is having a sense of responsibility when you want to act on your emotions. Bravo Zulu Seargent, I know you don't think you did the right thing, but you did...Good on Ya.
