Try Pinwall's FleaBay store if you wanna keep the OEM style. I went to Flying J and replaced both antennas, mounts, connectors and all for a little over $100.00US

Since I don't have a tach, I just guessed at "Super Slab RPM", on the RSV, and did the sync. Now it is off at idle, but is smoother at road speed, than when I did the sync at idle. I need to try this procedure on the Tour Classic. Kbran and Squidley got it absolutely perfect at idle, at MD. Now there is a definite vibration at highway speed.

1st thing I would do is put everything back like it was when it worked and see if it works again. If it does, think about the saying; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!".

If Ra-di-dio Shak can't help you, check with your local Motorola 2-way shop. Larson makes a base loaded "NMO mount" antenna. You'll have to specify the 27MHz coil. I think you can get the coil in grey or black.

If that is the case, it helps keep the radiator COMPLETELY full. When the coolant heats up and expands the "extra" flows to the recovery bottle. When the engine is shut down and cools off, the coolant contracts back into the radiator, from the bottle.

You wanna watch an insurance company adjuster (not an independent) squirm, tell him the word "totaled" is not gonna enter into the conversation. Tell him that you are expecting your truck back in the same condition that it was in before HIS client hit you! No better, no worse, but at least in the SAME condition. Still probably won't get the truck fixed, but MAY get you a better settlement! Oh and BTW, where is my rental truck until this is settled???????????? (Since you have a business to run......)

Just a suggestion, but riders in that area/county should be on the phone, or send letters or email, to the local prosecutor demanding the driver be charged as mentioned above!!!

As I understand it, any and all up to, but not including, DOT5 are compatible/mixable. DOT5 is a special "breed" apart. The DOT4 has higher temperature limits.

Boss, you and your wonderful Bride sure know how to throw a party!!! We had a WONDERFUL time, THANK YOU!!! I'll be hitting the donate button in a bit. HMMMMM, Am I a charter member of a new club; "I dropped my bike at MD"??? I may have to quit these big events, 'cause I'm 2 for 2. Yeah I joined the "I dropped the bike at Vogel" club last year. At any rate, I seem to be OK, my left calf is sore and I still have some what of a headache, (but maybe when we get home and I let Wes outa the truck that'll go away!!!):crackup: Walter
