  1. FWIW, I would not buy another thing from CCC after the way they treated me on the POS HID setup I bought from them several years ago. Unless it has changed their customer service SUX!!! But that's just me.....
  2. I have one installed on my RSV and really like it, for "traveling". I have to admit it is WORK riding it in the twisties and it does make the bike ride a little rough. I dislike both of those qualities. I do, though, also have a '98 RSTC that I can get out and play on. My RSV also has the VMax rear gears which to me is a must with the Voyager Kit. Another advantage to the Voyager is that the tongue weight is carried on the two voyager kit car tires. This is the second bike I've had with the conversion. The other being a Burgman Scooter. Some have mentioned alignment, I've had no problems with that. I like the fact that I can lock the rear bike tire and the bike will still slide in a straight line. It is a pretty good distance from your house to mine, but you are welcome to come down and take the bike for a test ride.
  3. Wise Man.........:crackup::crackup::crackup:

  8. Purple and Gold???? That sounds an awful like school colors from that place in Baton Rouge! Boo Hiss!!!! Go Dawgs!!!!! Yeah Maroon and White..... :dancefool::dancefool::dancefool::rasberry::rasberry::stirthepot:
  9. If you have passing lights, while you are at it, install a relay for the passing lights! That gets that load off the ignition circuit.
  10. The rear plate for mine comes all the way across as well, I just left it off, for now. I have plans(don't we all) to cut a circular holes in the plate and weld a sheet metal "funnel" in there to get the exhaust out.
  11. DISCLAIMER: This is my experience, not a recommendation. After I load my Tag Along, (BTW I have 3oz of Ride-On in each tire) I air the tires up just enough so there is very little, if any sidewall deflection. The pressure then is generally around 23 psi. This has worked well for me. The 1st (cheap Chinese) tires that came with the trailer lasted well over 10,000 miles before I changed them. I ran them and their replacements at interstate speeds with no (so far) problems.
  12. Also I would STRONGLY suggest that one reinforce the left tail light mounting bar, if you mount your license tag there. Sometime in your trailer's life in moving it around, manually, you ARE going to lift the tongue too high and the tag will drag. When you do you will weaken the butt weld and sooner or later it will break. Thank goodness a kind cager flagged me down in Conroe, TX to tell me I was dragging a tail light by the wires.........
  13. OH, I thought that was a pink motorcycle cover.... :shock3: :crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup:
  14. Just in case, We'll leave the light on for ya!!!
  15. I suspect at his new arraignment it will be substantially increased or totally revoked!
  16. Give these folks a call; http://www.twowheelsound.com/home
  17. I believe the cams are different, the carbs are 28mm, as opposed to the RSV's 32mm, and the valves have single springs, as opposed to the RSV's double springs. I don't know if the intake and exhaust runners in the heads are different, or if the valves are different size.
  18. I believe they are computer limited to 108mph and it should do that in 4th, or 5th
  19. I have one of those. Lets just say it is VERY "water REPELLENT"! I'm happy with it. It has been on the RSV for several years with no problems so far. After a bad rain I have to open it up to let the condensation dry out. The little Nuvi, that has lived in there for a couple of years, is very seldom taken out and I have seen no ill effects.
  20. Heck, the last 4 I have bought I paid $0.01 each for them. Shipping from China was $24.00 though.
