  1. Hey you CTFW'ing varmit, congrats on the 37'th anniversary (only 17 more and you catch us ) Candy, Sue and I wish you all the best in the future. Noted with some alarm you are having more surgery, hope it is just precautionary. Be sure and let us know how everything turns out and rest assured prayers are headed your way from this location.......
  2. Don't know who Pete is but I do know a lop-eared N. Muskegon varmit that was supposed to be eating hot dogs today but, NO, nary a word. Get a kick out of your assessment of a bike you wouldn't have bought anyway even if it was a V-4......:stickpoke:I can attest a good ole Harley v-twin is a good tourer and I bet the new Yammy will be too.......
  3. Glad to see you and Tip enjoying that grandbaby.....he is a cutie. By the way, did you get my mailing this week........
  4. Arrived home from our Sturgis adventure, our first - 2500 miles and the Harley never skipped a beat. Great trip with lots of great riding in that part of the country. Highlights included the Harley Museum, Wall Drug, Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, The Needles hiway, Crazy Horse, The Badlands, and of course the rally itself which was everything I expected, a zoo with wall-to-wall traffic, people, and vendors crammed in a small town but that's why we went. Even had the honor and pleasure of meeting Adam Sandoval and his dog Scooter of Adam Sandoval Rides and/or ScootinAmerica at a rest stop in the Badlands. A few pics below:
  5. I resemble that remark !!! I said that once too and look at me now, things change. Loved your vids........
  6. Actually Puc, before I even saw this post tonite, we stopped at that rest area you mentioned and saw Dignity and the traveling Vietnam tribute. How bout them coincidences [emoji848] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Hey you lop-eared varmit @cowpuc, where the heck is you? Still in S. Dak. til friday then heading for home. So inspired by your needles ride vid, gonna do it tomorrow. Did Sturgis today but spent most time on HD exhibits, imagine that. [emoji1] Ride safe my friend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Oops, a little miscalculation on my part. Thought I was allowing for the time change but somehow took an hour off the travel time. Have to advise eta of 8 pm rather than 7. [emoji848] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Puc, you continue to amaze me [emoji3][emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Unfortunately, waving is about all we'll have time to do..... Taking the late afternoon boat and need to be in Beloit by 7 pm.
  11. Hey Puc.....don't forget we will be there (hopefully) mid-week, staying in Rapid City. I've got your cell# and you've got mine, so maybe. Leaving thursday via Lake Express ferry across the big pond and staying in Beloit WI for a few days to see our new great-granddaughter. Hope to hook up with you guys somewhere.....
  12. Jay - I had a 38' Class A for 10 years but sold it in 2014. What kind of info are you looking for.....? Towed a Ford Escape all over the county with it and stayed in everything from state parks to luxury private RV resorts with never a problem on finding a site. It's true you have to unhook a towed vehicle (TOAD) if you don't have a pull-thru site but that takes about 2 minutes if you have the right towing set-up. I wouldn't have wanted one much longer than what I had, mine was big enough to have a king bed and a washer and dryer (a must for the better half). Enjoyed the experience and travels but decided to sell when we moved to a condo. Good luck with your search.
  13. Actually, "candy" apple red was the inspiration and you will see a lot of Harleys on the road that color. [emoji106] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
