  5. Is this an OEM part? If not, where did you get this point set?
  6. But too big and the cam "slaps" the shim instead of meeting it with the ramp up and it "slams" the valve against the seat, as it closes, as opposed to letting it close gently as it comes down the ramp on the cam lobe.
  7. Then I couldn't call her "Coat of many colors"!!!
  8. Temp was in the 60 and sun was out this afternoon. Only got in 101.0 miles but boy it felt good!!! One stop I made was on the Natchez Trace north of Jackson. :cool10: The other one is just off the Trace at Ratliff's Ferry. This parking lot is usually full of motorcycles on Saturday afternoons.
  9. IMHO you will LOVE IT!!!:cool10: Especially if you ride "heavy" and pull a trailer.....
  10. Just my but if you are using LEDs for passing lights, I wouldn't even bother with relay option 1.
  11. Thanks Everyone!!! He is home and doing well, that is if his Mom doesn't kill him :rotf:
  12. Wes went in this morning to have surgery in his right wrist. This was a fusion to pull his hand around straight. As I type, he is in the recovery room. All seemed to have gone well. Here he is in his designer hat ready for the big adventure!!!
  13. This might be a better deal, 500 Lumens. http://www.ebay.com/itm/One-Truck-Lite-80240-LED-PAR-36-Driving-Passing-Lamp-Light-Motorcycle-Connector-/181241926229 Or This, but lumens unknown... http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRUCK-LITE-HIGH-INTENSITY-PHASE-7-LED-MOTORCYCLE-PASSING-LAMPS-4-1-2-2247-PAIR/121183155603?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D19839%26meid%3D4058757562709746251%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D8934%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D181241926229%26
  14. Did I miss it? Don't see where it mentions price or lumens
  15. Just my my '98 RS is a really cold natured bitc,,, uh beast. When temps are in the 40s I better let her idle for at least 5 minutes, or she will choke and die from a standing start. A 15 degrees I bet she would look around at me and say "You want me to do WHAT???"
  16. Just my , but when it falls over, and sooner or later it will , you are gonna miss the rear crash bars... Otherwise, Lookin' GOOOOD !!!
  17. Merry CHRISTmas!to all and to all a GOOD NIGHT!!!
  18. Wish it would make it another 155 miles. With the exception of the tire spoons I have tools and a lift.
  19. Well he has been saving his money for the better part of the last year and now had enough to buy the first car that is ALL HIS OWN! For a kid that was never expected to walk or talk he has done very well!!! I'm a really proud Dad...
  20. In my world there is a difference in "crank" and "start". To me crank means "spin over" and start means, well you know! I wonder if the seller means start when he says crank?

  22. Facebook post from the Dad; Praise God! Initial surgery went well. He required a little more blood postoperative, but he is more stable than since the accident. He is breathing on his own without a tube, so he can talk. Still in good spirits. A couple of hours ago, I met the man who initially stopped to help JM while his daughter called 911. He was amazed that John Michael, in obvious pain, never cursed but calmly asked if anyone else was hurt. Just before that the mother of the young man driving the truck that turned into JM came to check on him. As mentioned he did lose his left leg below the knee. Along with that his left femur is broken,as are both bones in his left lower arm. BUT he is ALIVE!!! Thank You all!!!
