:fireman:I am looking to replace the travel trunk and possible the saddle bags on my '02 midnight venture.The bottom of the trunk is cracked around the bolt holes,I can't afford to buy the new oem trunk,does anyone know anything about A-1 motorcycled hard bags? they look pretty nice and are alot more affordable.

I have an '02 midnight venture, the bottom of the travel case or trunk is cracked around the bolt holes,I fixed it for now, I'd like more permanent fix since replacing is close to $900.00 any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks, smokeeater:fireman:

My wife and I were just there a few weeks ago and the scenery is unbefrigginlievable.We came from north to south after visiting Natural Bridges National park. The gravel portion is only three miles long so we took our time going down after getting some really unbelieveable pics,wy wife was very nervous but,we took our time and made withou incident.personally,i didn't think it was all that bad cause the road is graded and the gravel is pretty much hard-pack.We spent two day crusing around Monument valley and saw some gorgeous country.If you go out ther, check into staying at the "Desert Rose I nn" in Bluff Utah for some incrediable sunsets, also check out the Gooseneck State park off of state rte 261. smokeeater

To all vr. org members,I'm not a big computer kinda guy, both in skill and for fun, btu since I've been spending more time reading and looking things up on the site I'm truely impressed with the willingness and generosity that everybody shows with sharing knowledge as well as helping each other out.I was a firefighter for nearly 34 yrs.,until heart problems forced me to give it up,it refreshing to me ot see another group of folks that really seem to understand what the word brother means.Now I'll get off my soap box and say , well done. Ihad rc surgery a few years after rolling an ATV over on top of myself out in NewMexico.I say take the pain meds and work hard as you can stand in physiacl therapy, it does get better.

I have a 2002 midnight Venture, I bought it used and put samson slip-ons on ti to get a better sound etc..I like the sound OK btu I' d like it to be a little louder and maybe more of a roar than a rumble(if that makes sense),Im thinking the Baron slip ons would be a good choice but don 't really have the cash right now.If anyone has a set of Barons that they might want to trade , I have the original mufflers as well as the Samsons, both in excellent condition. If you're interested let me know.
