The other day I was cleaning my bike and noticed a deep scratch on the rear of my trunk. looks like somebody may have keyed the bike. I am sure if I backed into something hard enough to make that scratch I would have noticed. How would you fix a deep scratch in the plastic. this is on a 2007 Midnight Venture. scratch appears to be light grey so assume the trunk is really grey plastic painted black. if it is black paint it will be hard to match. Saw a commercial tonight on TV about Canadian Vets. In it there is a couple standing by a Grey (probably 2008 or 9) RSV. Anyone from here?

Just got back from a 4 day ride in the U.P. saw 4 different 2nd Gen's while there. Could it have been anyone from VRO ? A dark Grey RSV, a Black and 2 others, one was pulling a trailer. Would have been on Sat. , Sun & today.

My son just informed us that we're going to be grand parents ! They went to the ER to get a wrist X-ray and found out she has one in the oven. I guess now I'll be able to justify all this grey hair .

My new Clearview windshield (Medium Light Grey with vent) arrived on Monday. I installed the shield on Tuesday morning in less than 20 minutes... very straightforward and easy, even for one who is mechanically challenged. The grey shield on my grey 2008 Venture looks great. I went for a ride, and had no complaints from my passenger. There was no noticeable increase in wind buffeting even at speeds over 100 kph. I noticed a little more wind, which is what I wanted. At 5 ft 11 inches, I am still looking through the top few inches of the shield, however. I was hoping to be able to see over the top. I may shorten the shield by four inches or so. The Clearview shield is much more solid than the stock shield. The shield I purchased was advertised as having “very slight scratches”. I will have to take a very much closer look, as I have not spotted them yet!

Just aquired a couple of small boo boos on the silver of my 99 silver grey RSV. Any ideas where to get a touchup bottle ? Dealer?

NO,NO, it's not what you think it is!! Last week, I had some time to kill so I wrinkled the motor. I got some black wrinkle paint from AutoZone and went to work. I like the looks. The grey that it came through with just didn't do it for me. Brian
