  1. For the trailer, just go get an Ontario trailer plate for it,, call it homemade, take off any identifying marks, and drive it across the border,,,, might help if you have Ontario plates on the towing vehicle.
  2. Got here a day or two late I noticed. Congrats anyways to all involved,,, and I bet everybody is. Happy times for all of you, and may God bless you all.
  3. Sooner or later it may happen,,, we tend to be an erring people and so make mistakes,,, hence the chains. So my theory: Hook the chains as sort as possible,,, so that the trailer can come around at a 90 degree angle. This is not something you judge by looking at it but actually performing. You will be surprised how short they can really be. If you can get then short enough and depending on the 'coming off situation', your trailer may not hit the ground or your tire.
  4. Notice that you have a real lawn machine sitting there,,, when you get fed up with let me know,,,, it'll be a long time before I'm fed up with mine. And,,,,, have fun putting those wheels back on,,,, not really, but they do come off easier than they go back on,,,, just a little time and a little patience.
  5. just make sure you sloop it away from where you want the water not to be,,,,, ya that's kind of important!
  6. Nope,,, not that easy there Larry, there is the 'mortgage' to consider,,,, it cost a lot to get these scoots, and the loan ain't paid for yet, so they have to get their money out.
  7. There's a spring manufacturer in Brantford, in fact we have 2, and then one in Ayr. Take the old one and match them up. I maybe can even help you out if you like.
  8. Maybe that would be Chabachicka? but it's all in parts,,,, but should work real nice. ya ask me about it,,,,, not hard at all, I can now uninstall the engine in less than 2 hours.
  9. 83 to 85 are all interchangeable, but 86 to 93 are differnent,,,, just a little. Some parts are the same. The difference comes in the saddle bags and trunk, so that changes pretty much anything involved with them, including the mufflers. Other than that, it's pretty much the same.
  10. OHHH glad you posted,,,,Seal ALL is one of my favorite glues, seals. Never thought it would harm plastic like that, but then I've never tried it. It doesn't have much strength though, so probably won't have helped any anyways for your problem.
  11. Just keep it under 4500, these engines work great below 45 although they are amazing around 6000. And oh, don't be cheap with the seafoam,,, pour the whole can in and try to use the tank full over a couple of days so that it has time to clean.
  12. Go for it big boy,,,,, now just remember, no more holes in the skin!!!!
  13. Well sucker!!!!! you missed out on a 85,,, the best of both world's and already the fastest without any addons. I would have punched the seller out, right there and then,,,,,, nah I wouldn't have,,, but I surely would have been disappointed,,, specially at that price. Good luck to find another,, I'll keep an eye open for you. And Welcome,,,, now don't go away,,,,yahear??
  14. One more advantage of a 1st gen,,,,, less work
  15. For all those gals that we love. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3MKDzYOpik&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL]YouTube - ‪Bride's Mega Fart Prank‬‏[/ame]
  16. We already have an award for this,,,,HELLO?
  17. very nice,,, so refreshing to see very few pictures with the bride only,,, always with her husband, the way it should be. Wish them the best.
  18. So when you do a sync at idle and everything is the way you want it, and then do a sync at 3000, and you find you have to make a change,,,,,,,,,,, guess what, your idle sync is now out. Good point though,,, if you are good at idle, but out at 3000, then you have an issue with the linkage and that can't be fixed with an adjustment. Now for me, the idle sync is the important spec. That's where I need the engine to run perfect, for if I get a hesitation there, or a miss, that could throw me over, or kill the scoot in the middle of an intersection,,,,, and somehow, I feel that would be paramount.
  19. Best way to verify your gauges is to hook them altogether with some plastic connectors, available at your local hardware store, apply vacuum (any vacuum) to make sure they are all the same. You can even hook it up to the scoot, that vacuum works good too.
  20. SOOOOOOO are you home yet??????
  21. So what's the plans for the long weekend. Canadians go first of course,,,, then we do it together and then the Americans can finish it off in a grande style. So what are you doing?
  22. You'd best be feeling better real soon,,,, like right quick,,, otherwise that Rod guy will do something funny, and Rocket will get into trouble,,,,,,, and then I'll have to come over there to set things right again.
  23. In order to clarify your question with a useable answer, we will need to talk both amps produced and ohms load. So maybe GaryZ could lay that out a bit better so we can all understand it and work with it. Could you Gary?
  24. Nah, ain't no good at blowing those things either.
