  1. Now it needs a good dose of Seafoam, seems that one carb may still have a little issue, or you might need to do a carb sync, might help as well.
  2. Now it seems to me that you have a fuel problem, so while the bike is running, spray some WD40 into the intake for that cylinder, if you notice a difference then you have a non-functioning carb.
  3. Try running a light right off the connector, so touch the center of the bulb to the connector, and run a wire from the bulb base to ground.
  4. Anybody deal with Yamaha Sports Plaza in Fairview OR. I ordered some parts from them, and wonder how they are to deal with. They claim to be the biggest in NA, but they did take my money before they had all the parts together.... so I was just wondering.

    Step 1

I asked Marca to hold up the rear so I could move it outside to properly clean it, but she refused,, said something about getting wet or something,,, can't understand it at all, here's a job that needs doing and she backs out on me
  6. Did you check for spark on the end of the wire, or is the cylinder just not firing. To check for spark, attach a used plug on the end of the wire, lay it on the engine, crank the engine and see if it sparks.

    Step 1

Just need some parts,, that is all!!!!
  8. Just a thought: you might want to keep the oil level high enough so that oil can flow into the axles for wheel bearing lubrication.
  9. Check the bullet connectors going to the lights for continuity going from the connector to ground. Or maybe you have a disconnecting connector, loose wire in the connector.
  10. It should be level when you fill it or check it,,,, not good to overfill.

  12. Use the whole can of seafoam in about 1\2 tank, take it out for a few miles, let it sit overnight, run it for a few miles again, let it sit, run the tank empty, fill with fresh gas, change the plugs and then get back to us. You might also change the plug on #4 to start with, might help as well.
  13. Seems kind of heavy too me!
  14. I'm sure that in our country that this case would be thrown out, after all the wistness lied and so couldn't be counted on to tell the truth,,,,, doesn't matter that the defendant 'admitted' to the robbery.
  15. Bongobobny has the answer, I just gave it to him a couple of hours ago,,,, so I've lost it.
  16. Guess we should have come to NY State on Thurs,,,, now why is it that we always seem to miss the good fun.
  17. i had no problem with that at all,,,,,, wheeuuuu,,,, that settles that then,, I'll tell my fraue.
  18. Does this mean that the floor is now done????????
  19. I didn't put this hitch on, it came with the scoot and so I left it, it was cleaner when I bought it though. It's made of 3\4" tubing with a plate welded in for the ball and each end has a small flat plate welded to it so that it can be attached to the frame. Halfway back there is also a small plate that holds it to the subframe with 2 bolts per side, and keeps it from dropping on the road, which would be kind of inconvienent.
  20. So where was my notice,,,,huh?
  21. Man,,, you is getting REAL old,,, the practice runs was on Wayne's bike, taking the motor in and out, only 3 times it took, that was all.
  22. Actually Gary, I think it was more like two weeks that it took, and the right size hammer.:smash2:
  23. First off, it's not all that necessary to have a dirty bike in order to make and install a trailer hitch. It would be clean already, but somebody is waiting for parts before the back wheel can go on again. I asked my wife to be a help mate like she said that she would be, but I think over the 41 years of marriage she's got a little smart. If you need some more help or explanation, just post.
  24. Went over there for a boo,,, and didn't find anything wrong,, looks OK to me.
  25. Got to go right now, but will post later.
