  1. The noise could also be from a ground loop. Try moving the ground to the point on hte bike that the batteries ground is connected or if you bike has a single gound stud (e.g. GL1800) move it there.........
  2. Most of the stuff I bought from them is cheep, and all of it was inexpensive... and I agree that their customer service does not exist, but I will still buy from them.
  3. I used a stainless steel plate secured with the bolt for the brake caliper on the left side of the bike.
  4. I ride a wing too. http://image.motorcyclistonline.com/f/8833738/122_0102_21z+Honda_GL1800_Gold_Wing+Engine_Sketch.jpg
  5. HERE is one that looks simmular for $15.67 including shipping This one does NOT accept SD cards bigger than 2GB..... so there is a diffrence.
  6. For me, camping is Motel 6........ I am currently shopping for a used RV and it will probably be 0.5% of the price of the top of the line Provost RV's..... Where can I get an RV that a Goldwing will fit underneath without removing parts of the bike??
  7. The Honda Goldwing (GL1800) has a VERY stiff aluminum tube frame. There are twisting forces but the frame is so stiff the rider proball will never notice any flex, as apposed to the RSV....
  8. Actually not as when you have to perform an avoidance maneuver you have decreased the maximum lean angle of the bike which will increase the minimum turning radius at a given speed, so you may crash. That is why I ALWAYS warn against lowering ANY motorcycle. Try to do other mods first like narrowing or lowering the seat or buying boots with thicker soles....etc.
  9. To keep from inducing ground loops, I would recommend running a ground wire to the point where the battery's ground wire is connected.
  10. I dont rember which one it is but there is a prodcut on the market that is clear...... get it!!!!!!!!!!

  14. I will work fine, but I prefer the $66 mercury manometers sold HERE or for $11 more you also get an adjusting tool that works great on four cylinder goldwings and screwdriver might work on the venture HERE NEVER will it go out of calibration and it is extremely accurate, but there is mercury in it............. so keep it away from kids and don't try to transport it with the mercury in it. the only way it will go out of calibration is if the earths gravity changes or a large portion of the atmosphere goes away and tuning carbs will be the least of our worries.....
  15. When I totaled my 2007 RSV I went motorcyle shopping and I bought a 2010 GL1800 Airbag...

  21. I agree but it sure beats the alternative....
