Why not pull the shelter? I did when I installed the CB on my GL1800. Yes it takes time but you will KNOW that the wires are safley routed.

To get a 2010 Goldwing I accidentally totaled my 2007 RSV. I to prefer the Goldwing's ride, due to it's lower frame flex, superior rake and trail, and its higher horsepower but I do miss the RSV legroom as I have a 36" inseam. I never used the cassette deck in my RSV.

It works for warranty as Rotella T6 is JASO MA certified.. just look at the back of the jug. The owners manual oil weights are recommendations while the certifications are mandatory. Please read YOUR owners manual for verification.

I would use NO oil additive in any engine of mine....as I buy quality full synthetic oils...

450 lumens is not a lot for 10 watts. If they had one P7 LED per housing you could get 900 lumens for your 10 watts.

some people have isssues, some dont... I would have to guess it has a lot to do with how well the ballests and wireing are shileded and then bonded and how much RF noise is generated in the bulb.

You don't need the series.... each is an update on the previous release.... the current version is all you need.

I think that sidewalks are for walking on. Roads are for bicycles that are traveling quickly, say fast enough that they cannot come to a complete stop in 1.0 seconds, any faster and they should be on the road but not on limited access roads. If you cant stop a bike in 1.0 seconds it is a GREAT danger to pedestrians, which is what the sidewalk is made for.

It looks like whoever has them decided to keep them, which is regretable...

I get mine at Dealextreme.com for a good price. they are cheep chineese lights but have a GREAT bang for the buck. Get a HA-III coating.

Have you tried a flashlight with a P7 LED in it? I have one and it is advertised as 900 lumens. It lights up trees in my yard at over 75 feet and I can see all the details...

I have an idea. I was at my father in-laws house and he has a car license plate from all 50 states hanging on a wall in his garage. I thought I would like a collection of license plates too, but of the more difficult to find motorcycle plates. So here is my thought, if people could send me a box of about 100 motorcycle license plates from their home state that they can find, I would re-box and send out a box with all 50 states, the district of Columbia, and one or more foreign country plates that I receive from those that don't live in the US. (If you live out of the US please try to include one bonus car plate for my Father in-law) IF and ONLY IF I were to receive all those plates from other members. You might get shorted a few plates... (you may not get all 50 states) I apologize in advance. So your goal should be to send me 100 or more plates........... Oh and everyone would have to include return postage and a few dollars for my time. I am NOT going to get rich on this but it does seem like a huge time consumer.... Now this would be restricted to the first person from each state, territory or country to sign up on this thread with their promise to collect up and send me the plates from their state/territory or country as applicable.... I looked up in the members list to see how many people we have in each state, and I could not find anyone who lives in Hawaii and sense I travel there for work from time to time I figured I would collect up some Hawaii plates. I currently have 17 Hawaii plates in fair to poor condition one of which would be mine. I learned that in Hawaii the plate stays with the vehicle for it's life no matter who owns it... so plates are harder to come by and there is only one salvage yard that deals with motorcycles in Hawaii, so I bought all the plates he could supply. He promised to save all the plates he can from bikes that he is scrapping out. Not everyone will get plates from all states, as I may not be able to get enough Hawaii plates and Alaska may be difficult to collect up....... DC might be difficult too. I would also have to impose some random time limit too.... but I will have to see how things pan out. I don't think I will have 51 Hawaiian plates in under one year from today so someone may get shortchanged. so if you participate, don't complain...... So what do you think??? I will update this post with participants........... I have times when I don't visit the forum so there may be some stretches when I don't update this list.......... Oh, and I get first pick of the plates and I will NOT entertain special requests for plates. Any excess plates will be disposed of in a manner yet to be determine of my choice. Some plates may be damaged, broken, burnt, etc as they may come from a salvage yard, so don't complain if you get a damaged plate. All plates must be cleaned with soap and water before shipping to me. I don't want MrsSquid mad at me for bringing dirt into SquidAcres. Our forum administrator, IIRC is freebird, cannot participate in the swap as he gets a free set as he puts up with all of us. i have a policy with Progressive. If someone steals my bike I don't ever want to see it again.

There are units now that have free lifetime map updates.... If I were buying a new GPS unit I would have to find one with free maps for life.....
