    Well, I've owned and ridden both,,,, If'n you wanna pick up the front wheel (right Gil??!), beat anything on the road (right Muffinman??!), ride 4 gears with the front end up in the air (right Skydoc??!) and have the beginnings of the VMax motor to play with (right Dingy??!); then you want a MKI in the garage (STILL got one for parts for ya'll!), had an 84 Red for a couple of years and fun.... BUT, If'n you wanna ride reclined with your feet out front; plenty of room, armrests, highway pegs and good bling for the backseat rider; having fun just relaxin' whilst you're ridin' (cassette player right in front of ya!), miles of ridin' in front of ya (right Condor!) and just oil changes and rear-end greasin' to do during the year,,,,, I guess you have good things to mention with both.... Oh yeah, got proof the 2nd Gen will help ya hit, carry 75' down the road and dispose of an 8 point buck while savin' your a**!

    Happy New Year from here in Indy, at least this past SLOW year for me is now over, time to go back to NORMAL!

    The son and I both saw 2 GW riders with sidecars riding, they had just got off I74 at Post Rd. and were having fun!! There was about 3" on the road at the time, still coming down!

    Glad you made it thru OK, I did the same to a 250-300 lb. 8 point buck last year and it put me in the hospital for a month! No permanent damage (except the tiredness) but I had to get another 08 Venture! Tore the old one up good!

    C'mon Don, looks like you're losing the functionality of brain memory and retention abilities like me......takin' too long to come up with the contest...... Oops, took me 5 minutes to come up with this,,,,,I'll be(er) quiet now!

    Randy, your problem might just be needing to replace the split and regular washers on the output end of your tranny axle at the middle gear end if it hasn't been done yet. When it wears it allows some more movement of the axle in the housing, not allowing the gears to mesh correctly. If that's already been done, not sure what the fix is!!

    Same goes from here guys, all of you have been such a help to me over the last year that I feel blessed to be a part of this fine group, as said above "a God loving and respecting" bunch of folks that I'll be glad to help out anywhere (as has been done!) anytime.

    The son and I got to ride to the in-laws for T-day, then it dropped down into the low 30's and high 20's for Friday and today! Oh well, we got one in....... Looking forward to a good New Years Day ride

    Been workin' on electric systems since '76, it ended up being a deer tryin' to take me out! I'm still here...... A little 110 volt shock just tickles now
