    i have to agree with don. kurt, that is one of the prettiest 1st gen's i have ever seen! i have an '86, that is plumb ugly compared to yours! just keep "fiddeling" with it , 'till it runs like you want it to! the 1 gen, gurus will be on here in a little while, then your troubles will be over. just jt

    you've GOT to be kidding!!!! 9 degrees????? it's 76 ABOVE, right here, right now!!! i finally got a DAY OFF!!!!! after working 8 straight weeks 7 days a week. i feel kinda guilty, or lost, or confused. i keep thinking i should hide, so that my boss don't drive by and see that i'm not at work! crazy? or what! just jt

    in the year and a half, that i've had my '86, i don't recall EVER putting a cassette tape in, to see if it works or not! lol i just enjoy local radio stations. thanks for all the great info, though. you never know when you might NEED to hear some of your old favorites. just jt

    very neat idea, but i think , the same type screws are available at ANY electrical/ lighting/lamp , parts store. these screws are very common on lamps and ceiling fans. now i'm gonna have to take a day off and go shopping! lol just jt

    DANG!!!!! 76, degrees here today! gonna warm up some tomorrow, though! makes no difference. i have to work! only day i have had off THIS YEAR, was NEW YEARS DAY!!! working after hours, nearly everyday, to accommodate , "sub contractors"! everyone tells me , i'm getting rich, on all this overtime, but i can't seem to find any of the riches! i guess, it'll show up , one of these days! just jt

    don. it sounds to me like maybe one or more of your carb floats might be a little "gunked up". i would run a stronger sea foam solution, through it. maybe a full can to a tank of fuel. run about half of it out, let it sit awhile, and run it some more. i'm sure , someone here, has a better solution, than mine, so just "stand by"! lol just jt
