  1. I sorda wish i was triking mine out. But my dad has an 07 blue/black like that with chrome wheels on the back.
  2. I have one of their first shields produces. I totally love the product. It is awesome to be able to adjust it. High for highway, cold, or rain. Low for back road cruising and beach strip looking. I talked them into making the wider and taller one actually back in MB when they were first getting out in the market. Spencer is a great guy to work with. Go for it.
  3. I believe my shop did this for me when i had the service plan back a while again. I probably need to find someone I trust (not a stealership) to help me complete this on my 07 with ~80K miles. It runs great and i have had no problems (knock on wood) so far. Maybe i will find someone close by and with the tools to help sometime in the furture. Miles~hope the recovery goes smooth and you are alive to tell us all the stores. Ride Safe again once the cast is removed.
  4. If I had the extra money just sitting around I had thought about installing this complete audio kit (MC-YAM-AK4 - Yamaha Venture 99-07 4 Channel Motorcycle Audio Kit $549.99) from Bazooka. Also could install a 6" bass tube in the truck for an additional ($199.99 + $39.99 install wires). Then maybe our sounds could be as good as some of those customs LOL for a mere $789+shipping LOL.
  5. I replaced my yamaha spot lights with the 4.5" LEDs. There was/is a thin metal ring/gasket that was behind the stock sealed beam lamps. I believe that is what CD may be speaking about. The lamps fit the outer ring great but you have to PUSH to get them to seal good and tighten the fit screw. Might be easier if you have someone help. You get them set and the other person tighten the screw.
  6. Could there be a smaller tach and same size other gauge (temp, amps, etc)? Also would it hit if you have the risers and flanders/RSTD bars?
  7. DragonRider, There is a group of us going on this same cruise itinerary just on Carnival Dream leaving next weekend Jan 19. My wife and I have three excursions but two were booked outside of the actual cruise. We are doing Underwater Scooters in Cozumel, a river tour/mayan ruin/lunch in Belieze, and dolphin swim and snorkel in Roaton. We are just chilling in Costa Maya. I have also read that downtown San Miguel Cozumel is a lot better place for shopping and the local stuff. Then there is a fishing town in Costa Maya called Mahahual. They say get out of the port which is the trap for all us tourist. Have fun and safe travels.
  8. I just wanted to let everyone know how pleased and professional this company is. One of the most pleasurable company to deal with. I have been working with Jim to get better braking power on my dad's 07 trike. He sent us new brake shoes and the larger rotors right before Christmas. During the time I was at dad's we worked on the bike. The brake pads didn't fit the calipers so we just didn't use them because the ones on there were still good. Went to put the wheels on and they didn't fit, wheel hit the caliper. So I called and got Jim's voice mail saying he was out until after the holidays, expected really. I called today and left a message for him to call me back. He did promptly and now he is going to send new calipers with all the fittings to get all the new stuff on. I am really happy this company stands behind their kits and helps owners of older models upgrade to their newer equipment. If or when I get a trike it will be a Hannigan for sure.
  9. I have the Hagon shock and it is def better than stock. I have put over 10k miles with no problems and that is pulling trailers and riding two up. I have it set like it came but might step it up one notch. It is the heavy spring 300kg I believe. I had got it pretty quick from Cali as well. They were a pleasure to work with.
  10. Have fun on the bike in FL and be safe. I am heading south to FL next Thur to leave out Sat on a cruise but no bike :'( I am with you on ready for warmer weather but NC weather isn't to bad year round.
  11. CB and Intercom is stock equipment on 07, as long as nothing has been taking off.

    Bike build off

Sr has too big of an ego. Jr is okay. Jesse is an old skool motorcycle guy. Gas Monkey's well they are a crazy bunch but i guess are trying to get bigger into the bike world. I truly have to say I am glad that American Chopper is FINALLY going off air. I have never liked Sr and most of his show bikes were junk and barely ran. He was all about money and never about bikes. Jr did the right thing by getting away from daddy. His bikes became better once he left. I have always liked Jesse's bikes because they were true customs made from ground up with his parts. Any one can order parts and put together a bike if they try hard enough. This is just my 2 cents.
  13. What year trike kit is yours? My dad's is an 07. I called about doing it but they didn't let me know how much or how?
  14. BongoBobNY, How do you do the upgrade on brakes? Dad has the original Hannigan trike breaks.
  15. unhook the clip and the light comes out. you can pick up any h4 headlight. They are real simple to find and replace.
  16. Hope everything smooths outs for you both. Have fun with the move and enjoy the new place. Good Luck
  17. Sorry wont be able to make it. Do wish i could though. The tour at the hospital is amazing and Ronald McDonald house is awesome. I was at R. House earlier this year with the bike allowing the kids to sit on it and rev it up. It puts a HUGE Smile on my face to see kids happy.
  18. I was a freshman in college in our student center waiting for class and saw it on the tv. I didn't leave the tv and didn't make it to class.
  19. Prayers sent out. Warrior was a great guy.

  22. When is everyone leaving? A group of us are leaving NC on Aug 3 (4 day count down). Staying the first night in KY, then WI, and MN. Will arrive in SD on Aug 6. Everyone RIDE SAFE!
  23. I agree with buckshot. I looked for a long time and found a 07 used one up in VA. So i did have to make the drive up but i got it for a STEAL. TX2Sturgis:I don't take that much of a hit on gas i would say maybe 5 mpg. But remember I am not running as fast as i normally do without a trailer. Specially when pulling my aspen compared to my cargo trailer. CaptionJoe: If you use them a lot it works out in the long run. I also have AC and Heat and I am in MY BED WITH MY SHEETS. But I agree a hotel is much easier and a little cheaper when traveling long distance and staying in a different area almost ever night. I like my aspen classic and it is much easier than a tent when camping.
  24. if you look at the right side of the ad it says the post has been disabled and no longer available.
  25. if you all ride two up make sure you have them with you. Every passenger that rides on them says they have no room and arent as comfortable. I have ridden and them and they do ride good.
