Someday maybe she will be back. Its in her blood perhaps...time off is not a new thing to some of us....I took close to 20 years before starting up again. Glad that she has kept in touch with Russ. Take care Courtney.

First off I retire son turns 18 and now we are happy new grandparents of our first grandbaby, a little girl! No pics...she is just hours old and we havent even been up to see them yet! Wow.....does that make me officially an old fart?

After 23 years and seeing stuff I never thought I would see, I have joined the ranks of the retired! Or at least semi-retired anyway. My job at the jail is done my penence is paid. I will now be a school bus driver for fun...that means summers off, holidays off...no more shift work, no more missed birthdays, Christmas' or other special events. Its a bit surreal right now as I just woke up after working my last night shift ever! The wheels on the bus go round and round lmao!

A army buddy of mine had this...over twenty years ago. His treatment are as you described. He did lose some hair and was weak for awhile but made a complete recovery and is still going strong. Our thoughts are with you....it must be scary.

All the best with the surgery Don. Thanks for the reminder to have those tests done annually! My doctor and I have had that "special" relationship going since I was 40. For 20 seconds of discomfort its all worth it in the end...excuse the pun!

In my thoughts the fairing rattles too much without the rubber stopper. I put mine in upside down and wedged it in there. I tried it without and didnt like the new sounds it was making.

I dont know but if it were me I would be all over Joe's bike like a fat kid on a chocolate bar! Newer bike, more accessories, knowledge of what really happened to cause the damage, member here....

We have tried the "cheap" route with intercom/radio etc for Marilyns vstar. We ended up biting down and getting the J+M. Its been the best thing so far. Marilyn and passenger (daughter) can talk to others as it has the cb, they can talk to each other through the intercom and they can both listen to music either through her satelite radio or an MP3 or like player that plugs into the unit. Plus its weather proof up to a toad strangler and by then we are off the road anyway! -

I would have to say golf. Yes it does get in the way of riding but one cant ride all the time.
