My wife is scheduled for a heart calf tomorrow. The doctor is going to do the procedure around 4 PM. I took her to the Emergency Room around 4:30 pm yesterday evening. I stayed there last night and just got home a few minutes ago. My daughter will stay tonight and I will return tomorrow to stay while the doctor does the procedure. Please remember my wife in your prayers. We are hoping and praying that there is nothing real serious wrong. She is doing fine for now, but was so very sick yesterday. I could tell that she is really concerned and frightened, and so am I. Thank you all so much. James -
Looking to upgrade my digital camera from a point and shoot to an SLR Digital, I hear a lot of good things about the Canon EOS Rebel. Any others out there that I should consider. Money is a concern, trying to stay under $500.00. I know we have a lot of camera buffs here and hopefully they can help me with this decision.

Just may be in Columbia for the weekend to visit my son at Fort Jackson. Not sure how long we will get to stay. May try and get some geocache's while there.

I have an ulcer on the bottom of my right foot and they are doing a procedure called a "graft" tomorrow afternoon. I am suppose to stay off my feet to help it heal. I asked the doctor how long I will stay out and he asked me how long do I want?!!? I'm sort of thinking 10 months would be too long to ask for so in a month or so I will return to work. I retire next August!!! Guess you will see a lot of me on the forum for the next month...

on my 83 Venture the turn signals will not stay on, is there something I am doing wrong or is there something wrong with the switch. I've herd of the self canceling not working but not this. Thanks for any help. Steve -
I thought I would start this thread to see what my fellow riders do to stay in shape for riding. It seems as I am getting older I am finding certain aspects of riding becoming harder on me and the need to get back and stay in shape becomes more apparent to me everytime I ride.

I'm trying to figure out how to check my steering head for adjustment on a 2nd gen. Right now it seems to not stay anywhere I put it and will swing from side to side bouncing off the stops.

I am planning a trip from Ontario to Lake Placid, New York for July 14-17th. Can anyone suggest any scenic/twisty routes while there or things to do and see. As well looking for recommendations on hotels to stay at in the area. Thanks for your thoughts.

If anyone needs a place to stay in Cody we are staying at the KOA and have a Deluxe cottage that has a separate bedroom for Debby and I and another that has bunkbeds. It has Toilets,shower and full kitchen facilities in it. You MAY be sharing it with Roadhand but he is a 50/50 that he is coming. No smoking in Cabin. We are taking a week long trip to Arkansa in Aug and looking for some things to do and places to ride . We will be leaving from MO and headed south down either 65hwy or 71hwy . Looking for great places to stay , eat and senic rides . I'm sure someone on here has been down south to Arkansa . So give me your ideas please .

I have a 08 Venture and for some reason the metal bar that they call a stay keeps tearing the threads off my bolts and its a real pain to get them off and you cant tighten them down. I switch from the clear view to a factory one I cut way down. I went to the hardware store and matched them up in stainless but they seem week and the threads just tear off. The factory bolts have soft heads and round out way to easy so I wanted hex head. Anyone else have this issue? And if so what did you do to fix it. Thanks for any help:fingers-crossed-emo

While hiking down along the border this morning, Owen saw a Muslim extremist fall into the Rio Grande River ; he was struggling to stay afloat because of all the guns and bombs he was carrying. Along with him was a Mexican who was also struggling to stay afloat because of the large backpack of drugs that was strapped to his back. If they didn't get help, they'd surely drown. Being a responsible Texan and abiding by the law to help those in distress, Owen informed the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security. It is now 4 pm, both have drowned, and neither authority has responded. Owen now realizes that he wasted 2 stamps.

Cruise Control Not Working Properly

05 RSTD cruise control will not stay on. Just started on the last ride it will stay on for about 3 miles then shuts down, I reset the switch and it will do the same not sure were to start. -
hi folks what insurance company's do ya'll trikers use? just picked up my trike monday afternoon and trailered it home. i have progressive insurance on the '99 rsv i have now. shouild i stay with them? is there any problems getting insurance for a trike? did'nt think about this before i bought the trike. thanks in advance reguards don c.

Wow! Anyone else notice this? We used to have between 2000 & 2500 on the books, but, now only 992. Anyone got an explanation for the drop? Less trust? I found this out by looking to see who might offer a place to stay the night in those areas I might be headed this summer. Just wonderin'.

Okay we all know about the second gear problem, the washer at the end of the shaft is a metal that gets mashed flat and eventually the bike can't stay in 2nd gear. Here's my problem i can put the bike into 2nd and excellerate as long as I stay below 3500rpms. The bike will continue to excellerate even up to 55 mph. BUT if I try to excellerate faster the tranny pops out of gear then back in a again. It will pop out again if i keep trying to push it but stay in as long as it'd below the 3500 mark. I've talked about this with Skydoc 17 but Earl wasn't sure if this is the normal 2nd gear problem but because its in the second gear I believe it must be related somehow any idea what this might be???

My son and daughter live with there mom and over last summer i tried to take her to court and get them. The judge decided that it was better for them to stay there and it ok that her and her boy friend fight all the time around the kids and the police have been called and they smoke like freight trains around them. My sone text me tonight and wanted to know if there is a god why does he hate him so much and make him stay there. How do you answer that?? i cant argue with it and I dont lie to him.

Well it is our turn to get the crappy weather. Time to hunker down in doors here in South Dakota. 2 to 5 inches today with another 10 to 12 tomorrow. So far wind gusts of up to 43 mph. Dang it all anyway, now I cant get the bike out..........Ok maybe not. Everybody stay safe and have a great new year! I just threw in the stir the pot deal cause the fire looked warm!

While traveling west this October we came upon this conglomeration. It went for about a 1/4 mile down the edge of the road and about 300 feet to a shed down another road. This is why we stay off the interstates as much as possible. Has anyone else found something like this in the travels? If so where?

Well Al, to answer your first post.... It was there?? Don't know what happened to it?? On your second post, Glacier is a great place to visit. There are many smaller towns close by that offer Lodging. When in Kalispell we stay at the Motel 6. My bro lives in Kalispel... The Road to the Sun is a must do. http://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/goingtothesunroad.htm White Fish is kinda cool. Columbia Falls is also a good place to stay.
