Avon Venoms come in white wall -
I just looked through all my old stuff, Even my old windows 95 is on CD.
-
Depends, on some older machines that was not the case.. I'll check at home too, but I think I have Windows 98 and or 95 and maybe even 3.5 on floppy. If you can load any earlier version by floppy that gets the CD running you can upgrade from there.

US 23 and US 1 are the same road North side of Jax,, once you get on US 23 just keep coming south. At 295 go East/North follow it around as it turns into 9A South. Going around the East side of the loop (9A) misses a lot of traffic. If once you hit 9A you are in a hurry to finish the trip, just follow it until it goes back to US 1 straight into St Augustine, or I 95 and then go down to Hwy 16 and East into St Augustine where it meets US1 again. Taking 9A to I95 is a little faster, but not much. Depending on where in St Augustine you are going.. If you take I95, 10 miles before you hit Hwy 16 you will pass withing a couple miles from my house!! I live off the Hwy 210 exit. If you are still not in a hurry when you hit 9A, instead take a left/East at Hwy 202/ JTB/ Butler Blvd and take it until it ends in Ponte Vedra Beach at A1A, go South past Sawgrass/TPC all the way down to Vilano Beach.. At the light in Vilano Beach/ May st, turn left go over the intercoastal bridge and you are in St Augustine, Just over the bridge on the left is a boat ramp and just passed that is a dirt access where the flounder fishing is sometimes decent. Across the street from that on the right is the St Augustine school for deaf and blind where Ray Charles grew up. May st runs into San Marco Ave, a left and you will be going toward the oldest city area. San Marco turns into S Castillo just before the old fort and the Bridge of Lions. At the Bridge of Lions is King st, a right and you will be heading back toward US 1. A couple of blocks before you hit US 1 again, you go past the San Sabastian Winery on the left, right next to sheriff's office, during the day they have free tours and wine tasting, and at night they have a roof top bar with a live band.

Actually trying to teach not to bite is often unsuccessful, and teaching soft biting often works better. You might want to read this. http://www.clickersolutions.com/articles/spt/SPT_Puppies.htm#BiteInhibition The problem is it usually doesn't work with many lines of pit bulls and other fight bred dogs as the instinct to stop when the opponent becomes submissive has been purposefully bred away. And the fact is, a lot of people get pit bulls and other fight bred dogs because they either think it is a show of being manly and cool, and want them to be somewhat mean, or they actually still fight them. It is like riding after drinking, most that do it know it is unsafe, but insist "they can handle it". I'm sure if there weren't laws against it here, we would have people like in other parts of the world, dragging hyenas and baboons around on leashes saying the have them under control.

While any dog can be a raised to be a good dog, the fact remains pit bulls have been bred for a long time as a fighting breed. And all fighting breeds can inflict massive amounts of damage, much easier and faster than other dogs. And fighting breeds have been purposefully bred to not show any warning signs before attacking. From 1979 through 1994, attacks by dogs resulted in 279 deaths of humans in the United States. (Sacks JJ, Sattin RW, Bonzo SE. Dog bite-related fatalities from 1979 through 1988. JAMA 1989;262:1489-92; Sacks JJ, Lockwood R, Hornreich J, Sattin RW. Fatal dog attacks, 1989-1994. Pediatrics 1996; 97:891-5.) In the latter study, which covered six years, the researchers made these findings: There were 109 bite-related fatalities. 57% of the deaths were in children under 10 years of age. 81% of the attacks involved an unrestrained dog. The most commonly reported dog breeds involved were pit bulls (24 deaths), followed by Rottweilers (16 deaths), and German shepherds (10 deaths).

From the rear shock? They sometimes have seals go bad, I believe if you remove the rubber boot on the shock, if it is the shock, there will be oil in there. If not, it could be from the overflow tubes hanging down in front of the rear tire. If you just did an oil change and put in too much oil it can come out there.

I've been married since 1981. My wife has never tried to change me. Being as great a person as she is, she did change me, for the better. She is under the delusion I'm way better than I am, so I do my best to live up to it, but I'll never be as good as she thinks or deserves.

Garfunkel and Oates "Self Esteem" and "Pregnant Women are Smug" are both really funny. Didn't link them as they are not exactly family friendly. Not real bad though either, Both have been performed on the Tonight Show.

on a bike that old that has been sitting it is possible the jets are corroded and are not providing the correct fuel flow. I had that happen to me on an old Honda. even though they didn't look that bad, I replaced the jets (main and pilot) with new ones the same size and it ran great after that.

I'm sorry, ZZ Top, Jeff Beck, and Toby Keith's songs are not obscure.

One problem I find with following their recommendation, is that in 40 years of riding, I have yet to find a (insert any Japanese brand here) dealer, shop mechanic, or factory rep that actually knew what they were suppose to know about virtually and model of bike they sold. -
Stalled and sweaty, why?
hig4s replied to Dave77459's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
From the fact it just hummed at times should be an indication it is getting old and often cannot remember the words. No amount of reteaching the words will help, it will never get through the whole song again. -
My Avons are doing great, and even with the few complaints of Avons cracking, I have not heard one person say they chunked or failed like the Metz. And it seems Avon has replaced all the cracked tire, no questions asked. Personally I'm sticking with the Avons.

The manual calls for Yamalube 10w-30 or 20w-40 depending on the temp range you run in. Yamalube doesn't come in either of those weights anymore. If you read the web-site for Mobil 1 they state that their 20w-50 Motorcycle oil is specifically designed for air cooled twins, which don't have as tight a tolerances as liquid cooled engines and run hotter. And from what I can determine, Yamalube use to be made by Citgo, not sure if it still is. -
V-star 650, 950 and 1100 are all air cooled, the only V-star water cooled is the 1300.
