My wife has told me that there is a a car and bike show in North Branch MN. on June 13th (Saturday) from 9 AM to 2 PM. It is $5.00 to display your bike or free to attend. I was thinking if there was an interest from people I would have a camp out and a BBQ for the day or over night. I have an acre to camp out and on, a nice area with a fire pit. Gas grill for BBQing and just good camaraderie for those in attendance. If interested please let me know and I will start a list in this posting so people can see that your attending. Anyone and everyone is welcome. Oh I forgot there is a DQ in town. After all this is an eating club with a MC disorder. RIGHT? Steve aka Bubber Black Owl ...... tentatively yes Nyuk Renne Grampagak Craig Bob S. (spray can Bob)

Stuff happens. My wife tells me there is a car and bike show in North Branch on June 13th and I was going to post it in a seperate posting inviting people up and if they wanted to party after wards and camp out over night that would be good to. I can tell you first hand Juggler's tent has a lobby, and each room has a closet. Yet sorry to say it does not have a wine tasting facility YET! I hear rumors that it will be sporting a smokers lounge this year. LOL I only have one question how do I sneak away for 4 days to go to MD at Don's and what do I tell the Misses when I get back. I once told her I bought a bike by accident (twice) but not sure that will fly this time. Heck how long could she be mad?????? Still thinking about it. Bubber

After looking at some of your garages I have decided never to show mine to anyone because it either is to messy or I don't have enough clutter to compete with Condor. Condor must have stuff in there from the 50's he hasn't seen in 50 plus years. Kind of like one big treasure chest, a new surprise enery day. One second thought I am jealous of Condor's garage. I need more stuff. Actually I am having a man sale( garage sale, tag sale) this Spring to get rid of some of the stuff that ain't going to get used or I have 2 or three of. Then when I have room I can get more stuff to fill it up again. LOL Good luck with the garages folks, but it is time for riding not cleaning. Ya all have fun and keep the shinny side up. Bubber

We went at Christmas and saw the little brown people passing out cards and went to the buffet and just people watched. Hard to imagine they are allowed to hand out the cards to anyone that walks by. I would never waste my money going back again. Unless it was in my way to get some place else. I could not believe the over the top attitude and the cost of the buildings they either built or were building. All I could think about was the money pissed away on stuff like chandeliers hanging in car port that cost more than my house, while people were out of work and living on the street wondering what to do next. People were preoccupied with the ME, ME, ME, attitude. No thanks seen it once, that was more than enough! Others may enjoy it but not me!

OK you Will yours is a real sh#t hole. How can I compete with that ? I can at least see the floor after 6 hours of cleaning the big chunk up. I am showing the wife your pics. I bet I get off with good behavior after showing her your garage Vs my garage. Thanks for the lighter sentence and keep up the good work, if you can call it that. :banana:LOL Bubber

First" I only ment to say what I searched for and the name of the seller. Second: I bought two LEDs at Radio Shack for the backlight for my gauges and the guy figured out what resister need to be put in line to make it work on a 12 volt system. Other than that I refer to myself as electrically challanged. I only now have been trying things out of my comfort zone by wireing up a trailer and backlights and stuff like that. Third: I intend to use the lights as accent lights on the bike. Yes I would like to see placement ideas from other people so I can get a some good ideas. Steve aka Bubber

I just recieved the following 24pcs x 10mm Round Led Light Bulb Wire/Wired(Bright BLUE) Seller name http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/s.gifmegaplace4u from Hong Kong Shipped them the same day I paid for them ($9.20 no shipping charge) Recieved them after 6 days. Tried them before the post and they work fine. Pig tail is 6 to 8" long. Now all I have to do is wire them together and place them. I know a guy who gives good instructions to those of us that are extremly electrically challenged like me, ain't that right Eck? I think I will be pretty happy with them so I thought I would pass it along to those of you who wanted to fool around with some cheap LEDs without spending a fortune. I thought the price was right. Many different colors to choose from too. Good luck Bubber aka Steve

Questions before I order a set. Do they have the same curvatures as the originals or are they just flat? The black.. are they made out of a different material since they are solid not transparent? BTW thanks for making replacements, there are a lot of people that will need them. Bubber aka Steve

Place in town has lots of metric hardware. If you can tell me what it is (size, pitch and head) I can mail you a early or late birthday present. LOL Or do the Mounties search everything? LOL Bubber -

Yes there a term called Long Ton. And yes they didn't tell you the whole truth. Steel isn't sold by the long ton, it is sold by the standard ton (2000 lbs) So what's up with that. Sounds to me like 12.5% extra profit on his end. Good luck with that!

My question where are you going to go. The big island is still pretty small to need a trailer. LOL Harbor Freight is the place to start. So many box styles to choose from. Pick one and go for it! Good luck Bubber

It used to be able to be done,..... but now it is illegal in 48 states except MO and VT and even then it requires two men a small boy and and and inocent bystander, but one cannot be a 1st or 2nd cousin on your mothers side. Oh ya ! It cannot be performed on any day of the week ending in day. I hope this helps and clears up the confusion by some of the inmates, I mean members have lavished on you. If you need any more sound advice please don't hesitate to ask someone with knowledge of the subject... like me! Good luck in your quest to get'r done!

Does the etching weaken the windshield at all. Seems that any inperfection in the plastic would leave a stress riser to weaken that immediate area. Just a question. Just seems locical that it may weaken the windshield to some degree. Bubber

First off a big WELCOME to VentureRiders.org. You may want to start with knowledge base under the maim menu on the left side of the screen called VPTECH I made so many modes just like everyone else that it is hard to say what to do first. So make a list and rate them what is most important to you and then GO FOR IT! You will like it here, great people, great friends, and they would do anything to help a guy or gal out,.......just ask and see. Bubber -
I am sure that I speak for many here. ALL we want is for you to concentrate on your health and getting better. All the other stuff can wait. We need you as much as you need us. So that being said get going and get well! We promise to be good, well as good as we can and the others will reign us in as needed. Know that are thoughts and prayers are with you every step of the way and so is the man upstairs. Safe trip! God bless and get well soon. Steve Stelter and the all the VentureRiders

Just to add to your knowledge of adding the carbon fiber. When I was in the body shop business and we were putting the wood grain decal on the station wagons, we used soapy water (dish washing soap is fine) and laid the decal down and used a rubber squeegee to remove the water from under the decal. It eliminates the bubbles and then if there still are some, prick them with a sharp needle to remove the air and squeegee over them again. Try to move in one direction because at least with the decal they tend to stretch a little. I hope this helps on the next piece you do. BTW Great job on the side cover it looks pretty cool!!!! I wonder what different base colors would do. (gold, red, black, copper) Steve aka Bubber
