Karma for Veterans: Clutch and Brake lever tassels
Bubber replied to GG54172's topic in Watering Hole
I was F4 in 1968 does that eliminate me altogether? The military never ever called me back. It has been 40 years, Ok I give up waiting. Congrates to the winning Vet! -
Big Tom you are right Gary is a good guy. I had the pleasure a BS'ing with him last year at the Pork in the Pines pig roast and we had a great conversation although one of us was a little tipsy. And Gary wasn't drinking..... go figure! Gary I wish you well and a speedy recovery. Just remember we got a lot more BS to sling at the next PIP so get to the recovering and do what the Saw Bones tell ya. Be well my friend and Godd bless Bubber aka Steve

I think I saw Lowel in one of the pictures. Boy that guy sure gets around. I just want to know how he drove all the way to Europe on that Kawasaki of his. I bet he told the wife he would be right back, he was just going down to the store for a pack of smokes. That man puts more miles on than an over the road truck driver. LOL Great pics and yes they are a hardy bunch to be doing that in the cold of winter. God love em all! Bubber

To: Tequila Pete We met at the PIP last year, I was shocked and saddened to hear about your stroke. I am sending some prayers your way for a full and complete recovery. Please get better and make sure to do what the Docs tell you so you can rejoin us at the 2009 PIP. My recolection was that when you opened the tequila bottle you threw the cap away...... I guess that is when I knew we were in for a hot time in the old town tonight. You didn't disapoint! All the Canuks were a great bunch and we all had a great time into the wee hours of the morning. Pete we are all pulling for ya! Be well! I am looking forward to meeting up with you again. Besides RED1 said he was bringing the tequila this time. You can have the worm! GOD BLESS my friend! Once a pedestrian steps off the curb they do have the right of way and the cagers are supposed to stop. I ain't saying it is right I am just saying that is the way it is at least in Minnesota. That doesn't make the pedestrian very responsible for their action if they cross in the middle of the street. Quick reactions there Randy, and thank God you did miss them. Been there, did that, bought the T shirt!

Do you have a drawing? preferably with the switch holes and mounting holes. I may be able to have one laser cut at work. If that works then I may be able to have them cut in quantity if there is a need. I would like to cut one as a proto type and go from there. If you can send me a drawing I will get started. The following would be helpful Type of material: Thickness: Angle of the bend Brand of switch and P/N contact me a steve_stelter@yahoo.com Steve aka Bubber

Yes it is true boys and girls Ford has the black box in the F150 4x4 for sure since at least 2005. My brother was involve in a colision that resulted in a death and the cops used the black box as evidence along with the sueing attorney. Before anyone jumps to a conclution this was an accident due to losing control due to icey and slippery conditions not speeding. Bottom line was because he was involved in a accident that a death occured he was found guilty and fined $8000.00.

He wouldn't be in love with himself would he? LOL He seems to be pretty taken with himself. A few years after he is dead they won't remember him or what he did, maybe that is why he has it on his tomb. It must be nice to have to remind everbody how wonderful you were.

Can I see what one looks like and how big. Anyone have it sown on a jacket. Thanks much in advance. Bubber

Horn is mounted correctly and wired correctly. I have a tube on the intake to point the intake to the back of the bike to prevent sucking up debree . When first installed it worked great and did for about 5-10 blasts then it sounded real bad as if it wasn't compressing air and it sounded sick and no volume (dB). I may have got a bad one or it did suck something into the intake all I know is it has got to go or get fixed, one or the other. Steve

I have a Stebel Horn on my 2006 Midnight aand it sounded like a strangled cheicken at the end of last year. Lowel at the Pork in the Pines suggested to squirt a shot of sicone spray in the intake and it was better but not like it was when I put it on. I have been looking at different sights for a new one and was wonderif someone has a site that can beat $36.00 plus shipping? If so please share with me. I also thought of contacting Strebel but I don't how to get ahold of them to see if they will do someting as far as warrentee. Any suggestions? BE NICE!!!!! LOL Steve aka Bubber
