  1. Going to miss you, be careful over there and have a safe trip there and back. :bighug:
  2. ZERO, they will be all working on them after the International and Vogel meets. :whistling:
  3. Glad you and L. are enjoying the bike. Remember that Bobbie, Dave38x and I are going to Vogel Friday morning and staying at Holiday Inn Express in Blairsville, GA. We are leaving around 5:30am. If you want to ride with us, let me know.
  4. Show up at Vogel, you might win a set. See the thread on the Vogel Prize List. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=38564
  5. Looks like a great set of prizes, you did well
  6. Some people should not rub it in as how nice the weather is. The Northern riders don't like that at all. :no-no-no: Just trying to keep all them Northerners off the roads down here, so we can have it all to ourselves. :cool10:
  7. I order two kits and packs between 260 and 275 including shipping just over $40. Something sure doesn't seem right.
  8. Now I have to go to Wally World to find a fold up tire iron, going to be stupid but what does a fold up tire iron do? Are you talking about a lug wrench or tools for removing the tire from the rim?
  9. Ok, just wondering, if a trailer is older than 3 years, had not been used much, would you still replace the tires regardless of the good tread left? Just wondering, thinking about an older trailer in good condition, just concerned about the tire age.
  10. Those are the parts left over after using the PCW clutch kit. Good Job
  11. Are you saying I am over weight?
  12. I don't know if I love my Venture that much to get it tatooed on my chest. Next M&E you need to show all your Venture tatoo.
  13. Dad bought a used Sears for us kids, two cylinder, and took a beating by 3 kids and a Dad, but kept on ticking. Our's did not have the windshield.
  14. Maybe he can catch the UPS driver now. :rotf: Thanks Eck for the prizes for Vogel. Also, I need to talk with you Lewis, I have a prize that some might just bid on. And no it is not my Mechanic, she is not up for bidding. :rasberry:
  15. Looks like you found a 1st gen that was pretty well taken care of cosmetically. Good lookin ride. Have fun now.
  16. Ok, still slightly lost or overloaded with info here. The shim kits come with two of everything, but what if I need more than two? So my bike is tore apart until I can order more of the shims I would need, right ? Also, unless I missed it some where in all of this, are the spark plugs removed too? to make it easier to turn the engine. Remember, Mechanic and I will be doing this since I have the ticking noise now, 28,000 miles on the bike. So I am looking at parts about $250, between shim kit, special tool, some kind of feeler gauge, gaskets, plugs, anti freeze, any other tool needed?
  17. Looks like part 22 contains the foam things which means the that part comes with the foam rings.
  18. Ok, So tell us what YOU are doing to get 42 mpg at 70 on the interstate. The best I can get is 36 mpg on the interstate, 2up. I may need V7Goose and you to come down here to SC and go through the bike.
  19. Does it matter :rotf: She can't do anything until the bike is stopped. :rotf:
  20. Bull, I been riding with you before.
  21. About 90 on the interstate just keeping pace with the cops.
  22. I am in for a couple of T-Shirts XL with pockets. Just let me know the colors and orders will be taken.
  23. I trust somebody, just don't trust nobody. :rotf:
  24. Why do you need a trailer, you do not come out and play anymore. Now Mechanic needs a trailer. So I have THE winning ticket.
