Oh boy, another wedding I get to perform the ceremony, just ask Pick and Redbeard what kind of ceremony I perform. Weekend before Thanksgiving right?

Ok, I saw in the thread about the short sleeves having pockets, but what about the long sleeve shirt, they come with pockets too? Only good t-shirts have pockets, the rest are used for the cleaning bikes and vehicles.

Found these and they are about 100 or so cheaper than the OEM chrome ones. http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/detail.cfm?Category_ID=7&manufacturer_ID=165&product_ID=3126&sblid_name=Star_Yamaha_Accessories_Billet_Air_Cleaner_Covers___Ball_Milled_for_Yamaha_Royal_Star_Venture&model_id=42

First of all do a search on the noise for the OEM tires. Now that you have done that. Go buy a set of Avons, E3 or Commanders. This will fix your noise and better handling. The noise is very common on OEM tires and telling you to look for replacements now. When I got my 08, I immediately got rid of the OEM (had an 05), wasn't wasting my time riding on the OEMs.

Freebird, how many bookings does she need to get a great discount. I vote for the Norwegian.

I found this set with the volt gauge, but a little bit pricey http://www.equus.com/product_info.php?product_id=6100&category_id=100_120

Found these, now I wonder why these would not work. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=65210 Also, here is the manual for the gauges http://www.harborfreight.com/manuals/65000-65999/65210.pdf

i most likely missed the post in all these posts about the gauges. I like the Sunpro black background, but I want the Chrome ring. All I find is the black ring, hate to buy both sets to swap rings. Personally the white facing would be too bright (night time riding) and take a way from the speedo, unless there is a dimmer switch on the gauges.

That is a pretty good video, hardly no vibration. You are good at laying in the music too. What software did you use for adding and editing the video?

Odd Clutch issues?
Sleeperhawk replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I would dump that bike with all the issues you have had or put a lot more gremlin bells on it :rotf: Most likely you need to bleed/replace the fluid. -
I thought you never got rained on? :stirthepot:

most likely you do not have all the air out of the lines yet. You should not have to pump for the brakes to grab, but if you are pumping a few to where it feels solid, there is still air in the lines.

vibration at 70mph
Sleeperhawk replied to Goofeychuck's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Depends on what type of tire, Avons more air, Bridgestones what the manual states, most other makes, in between the two. -
Danny Kaye's dead, heck I thought he was still alive.

Do you have the Yamaha Trunk Bag?
Sleeperhawk replied to Freebird's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
We use that rack bag all the time, and Bobbie can pack a lot of stuff into that bag. Yes, the bag comes with a rain cover as someone stated, stuffed inside one of the pockets. -
Flander Bar and Throttle Cable Box
Sleeperhawk replied to Sleeperhawk's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
David, In the throttle linkage wheel, there is the spring that has to be in right and there is another cable that comes in from the bottom that must set in the groove of throttle linkage housing correctly. I know if this is not set in there correctly, causes issues with the cruise control. -

It is not, unless you have a bleeder tool. But if you are not on speaking terms with the better half, you better :rotf: Because it is a whole lot easier and you have company for the next couple of hours. Also, show her how to use the wrench, that way she can be sitting down for the next couple of hours, while you are standing and pumping and filling the reservoirs.
