For the ones that have LED brake and taillights, this bracket would need a couple holes drilled to mount a small light bar to light of the plate. Looks nice.

Screamstone, Wanderer, Dave38x, Mechanic and myself went through and did the obvious maintenance, oil front and back, brake and clutch fluids replaced, checked brake pads front and back, carb sync then poured seafoam in. Ruffy, if Screamstone stops by, do a carb sync again. He will have a couple of tanks through by the time he gets there tomorrow and after the seafoam sets overnight at Savanah. http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20Screamstone%2020090829/

Well, some couple had to be first using the Gazebo, all decked out like that. This happy couple just decided the decorations were just right for him, or him, or him, heck I give up

A Biker's Nightmare (or Daymare)!

Wind was not to bad, sure it rained, but that is what rain suits are for and we really don't like sitting things out. The first storm in Columbia, Sledgehammer and us waited that one for an hour, that one was like solid sheet of rain.- 10 replies

I have had Avons on my 05, then decided on my 08 would try the E3. In my opinion, both tires are great handling, basically the same tread pattern. Both been through heavy rain and light rain and handle great (all with 2 up). Right now I am on my second rear E3, first one had 16000, the second one currently about 7000, with the same front E3 for both rears. Still plenty of tread on the front tire. The only reason I am staying with the E3 was the price, my last rear E3 I only paid 120.00 were as the Venon was running about 145. Now both are about the same in price. Also, if you are paying the dealer over 175 per tire/mounting and balancing, you will be paying to much. I order my tires, take the wheels off the bike, take them to the dealer and only charged 30 for both front and rear mounting and balancing. I put the back on the bike. Bottom line, Venoms and E3 are both great tires.

So, on Friday, I am going to have to keep the speed around 60, just so the GW and trailer you are pulling can keep up.
-
To use saddle bags, or not to use saddle bag? That is the question.
Sleeperhawk replied to ToolmanRR's topic in Watering Hole
The stuff I have in the saddle bags never go into the motel room, except for her camera and small purse. I do use the bag for the trunk and the rack bag by Yamaha. -
We will check out everything Saturday. Not sure what type of trailer it is, but I am betting bearings will need some grease. I just want to make sure the tires are in good condition.

Since we got there on Friday, her picture taking started around 4 that afternoon. Again only a few pics for basically a day and a half. http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20Vogel%2020090815/

Well, I know the Columbia, from 5 years ago till, now, there are definitely more RSV and RSTD (especially since the RSTD came back out in 05) around the area. I actually think the RSTD, when it came out in 05, drove potential buyers to the RSV.

sO who are you staying with, Dave38x, Magnawake, Wander or us ?

I hope that is in Canadian $
